Nero tilted his head slightly to the left as he observed the hostility from the young lad. Of all the humans he had been presented with in his twenty or some odd years; never had he encountered one who resisted against their own fatigue nor stood their ground as firmly as him.
It was most.. unusual for him.
"Most humans would have caved in if they were physically and mentally spent. Why do you continue to press on when your body protests movement?"
Neku clenched his teeth and groaned hearing this guyâs question. Even if it was just a simple question..for some reason..just the way he asked it, sorta annoyed Neku.Â
âBecause I freakinâ can. Coffee does wonders in keeping a person awake.â Of course, Neku wasnât going to mention how he was still having nightmares of being in the Reaperâs Game or that he sleeps better with his girlfriend beside him. But this guy really didnât know about that...
There was a soft click of his tongue as he shook his head, taking yet another step closer to Neku. Wisps of darkness surrounded Nero like a free flowing dark flame. Edges of the flame reached out to Neku like a magnet, though just barely touching him.
"You should listen to warnings. Staying awake is not always to your benefit. Why don't you just give into to slumber?"
The black feline wander the undergrounds vents looking for her human. It took her a very long time to find the vent that led her to Neku. With many trial and errors, she ended up finding the right one but had to figure out how to get down. She didnât like the feeling she had with the male that was in front of her human. So with a few good jumps, because of her fabulous thickness she had she was able to break the vent. Then slid down the pole and swiftly landing on the ground. She ran over to Neku going in front of him defensively hissing at the male in front of him with her tail puffed out defencively âBegone human and leave mah human alone!â

He laughed softly,âOkay,okay..stop trying to climb me and Iâll give you the tuna. Bad kitties donât get noms.â Neku warned her.
Stella sat back down on her all fours and whined out,âbut foooooodâ She meowed out,â I require the yummy tunnaâ
Once the tuna was placed into the bowl,Neku quickly placed it on the floor beside him. Letting her have as much of the tuna as she wanted. Though he waited a moment before carefully taking out a small tube of cat flea medicine. Neku tried to quickly place some between her shoulders.
Stella instantly went head first into her tuna once it was placed down. She ate it happily purring. Stella paused eating when she felt something back placed on her back.â What are you doing human?â She said with a low growl

Randomly opens a can of tuna and looks around for his cat.
Stella instantly runs from where she was sleeping hearing the can opening and got up zooming to where Neku was. She purred against him, looking up at him meowing.  âfoooood?â She meowed out
He chuckles softly and gets a bowl for the tuna. âHey Stella. You hungry?â Gosh,was there a time when this cat WASNT hungry..?!
She followed him and stood on her hind legs as she pawed him,âYes. foooooodâ Stella meowed out louder

Randomly opens a can of tuna and looks around for his cat.
Stella instantly runs from where she was sleeping hearing the can opening and got up zooming to where Neku was. She purred against him, looking up at him meowing.  âfoooood?â She meowed out

Neku pinches the bridge between his brows and lets out a long sigh.
âYou can be quite the pain in the ass,ya know that?â He shook his head. This damn cat..he did enjoy her company,he just wanted to bonk her on the head sometimes.
âUgh..you gonna keep wandering about or what?â
"Oh i know, but you loooveee meeeee" she meows out happily as she stops grooming herself and rubs her body against his legs.
Purring she looks up at him, "to answer your question sir, ima bother you since i dont have anything better to do. "She meowed as her tail swayed from side to side happily.
â....Whatever man. I donât care. Just donât get into trouble,okay?âHe replied to Stella before standing up.
"Okayyyy, i have no promises" she meows happily

He pulled his hand away after she finished eating and wiped his hand against his shorts. âHave you been to Akin-sans lately? Or Haru-sans?â
She shook her head, "noooo, ive been around taking big steppies.oh that and sun bathing on roofs i can clim my furry butt on. I kinda for got to visit thoes two. And you were the closest one i knew that gives me attention and foood" Stella meow as she started to groom herself.

Neku chuckled and rubbed her ears. âYeah,I think I have some cat treats in my pocket just in case.ââ
He went through the pockets of his shorts and pulled out a small sandwich bag full of small chicken flavored cat treats. Taking a few out,he placed them on his hand and held it out for Stella.
âHere,help yourself.â
She opens her eyes and sniffed his hand that was full of treats first"Thank you human!â Stella meowed out before she ate the cat treats off of his hand. As she did she slightly moving her head away from his hand every so often while she ate,purring as she did.
âGeeze! Slow down,Stella. Unless you enjoy throwing up? If thatâs the case..Iâm not cleaning that bullshit.âHe warned the cat.
"I don't ,but I'm hungryyyyy" she meowed loudly, calming down from eating. "Happens when i don't eat before i take a long nap" she licked her left front paw, then looked up to Neku before eating what was left of the treats on his hand. Once it was all gone she started to lick his hand.

Neku was just taking a break from work,when he noticed a certain black cat stretching outside. He knew that collar and those sassy eyes.
Smiling smiling slightly, he kneeled down beside Stella,rubbing between her ears. âHey there,anything big happening today,Stella?â
Stella loudly purred out as she closed her eyes,"mmm unless you count finding food something big human. Than I think not. Speaking of food do you got any on you? I'm hungry from my very long nap" she meow out as she leand into his hand purring more.
