I’m christening a new term within fandom: Schrödinger’s Canon.
Schrödinger’s Canon (n.): something that is both simultaneously canon and not canon.
An example of Schrödinger’s Canon can be deleted scene or a comment made from an official creator of the piece of media.
This tweet from the official account of the psych writer’s room would be considered Schrödinger’s Canon.
Another example could be the comments made by the showrunner of Hannibal confirming that Will and Hannibal’s relationship is, in fact, queer, despite the series ending before any explicitly queer content was included.
I believe that the deleted scene with Eddie and Chris today is Schrödinger’s Canon.

This is an (incomplete) list of Thai BL/Y novels that I've either read or that are on my reading list. Some authors, like Mame, are missing because they have no (in)official English translations of their novels available, and the fan translations are so frequently taken down that I'd have to search for them all over again in order to find you links. I'll probably add them to the list later but if you have any questions (for content warnings etc) I'll do my best to help. 💜
Before we get to the list, here's a quick overview of my three main sources for English translations of Thai BL novels:
meb is a website for Thai e-books that comes with an app (that has a functional English version) and a desktop version (in Thai but very usable if you use your browser's translate function). meb is constantly updated with official English BL novels. It has great usability (it has an in-app bookshelf with a preview function much like kindle + you can choose to view your e-books as pdf or e-pub) and is safe to use. All prices are in Thai baht.
amazon has a surprising amount of Thai BL novels (some of which are inofficial translations - like Mame's "Tharntype" & "Love By Chance" - that are almost unreadable, so make sure to check the previews). A handful of novels are included in kindle unlimited so if you have a subscription (and there's always promotions going on for free) it's well worth the read. amazon also offers a few of Patrick Rangsimant's novels as paperbacks and that's always a nice thing to have.
wattpad has A LOT of (inofficial) fan translations in English, Spanish, Portuguese and Bahasa Indonesia. Some translations even have the author's permission which means they won't suddenly disappear because of a copyright takedown (which happens frequently). Just use google to search for your BL of choice + wattpad and that should give you what you're looking for. If none of the translations are in English, use your browser's translate function and you're good to go. Don't expect too much, though. Fan translations on wattpad are very rough.
Aiden N Vivienne. "Big Dragon."
Available on: wattpad
Genre: smut, university, high heat
TV version: Big Dragon
Translation: a rough fan translation that was done with the author's permission, there's very little happening in this, it's just one very explicit cp scene after the other with an mpreg scare at the end, Mangkorn's and Yai's names in this are literally Dragon and Big, much like in the tv show the novel opens with explicit non-consent... and stays that way for a while
Daemi. "KinnPorsche Story 1."
Available on: meb
Genre: mafia, crime, high heat
TV version: KinnPorsche
Translation: Bible Wichapas translated this, it's a very good translation with a natural flow that could do with an editor (I'm a translator/editor so I'm biased lmao), it's expensive and the story is as of yet incomplete, there are other inofficial translations floating around on wattpad & patreon but they're nowhere near as good in quality and get taken down frequently, please be aware that this story has explicit SA and frequent non-consent, tbh do yourselves a favour and just rewatch the show, there's no extra scenes or character info to be gained from this
Faddist. "Love Mechanics."

Genre: university, cheating, high heat
TV version: En of Love: Love Mechanics (Mini), Love Mechanics
Translation: a very good translation with a strange choice of slang in dialogues, please be aware that this story opens with explicit SA/non-con, I'm only four chapters in and I really like Faddist's writing so I'm hoping there's a pay-off for this
Faddist. "TOSSARA."

Genre: university, wholesome, high heat
TV version: En of Love: TOSSARA
Translation: a fan translation that was done with the author's permission, a very sweet story with a very sweet cp scene that's actually about consent for once, one of my favourite BL novels
Jamie. "Hot Bamee and Yummy Gyogung."
Available on: meb
Genre: office, smut, comedy, high heat
TV version: Hot Bamee and Yummy Gyogung (not yet released)
Translation: a very good translation with a fluent, easy to read style, this is a sweet and funny office romance with lots of cp scenes, it's rather tropey when it comes to "seme" and "uke" clichés, but at least the uke is older than the seme
Translation: a good enough translation on par with most other Thai BL novels, story is split into 3 books which makes the price quite steep, has one of the most tasteless cp scenes I've ever read (explicit non-consent & mentions of pain)
JittiRain. "Fish Upon the Sky Vol. 1." & "Fish Upon the Sky Vol. 2."

Genre: university, comedy, high heat
TV version: Fish Upon the Sky
Translation: a good enough translation on par with most other Thai BL novels, maintains the same tone as the tv show with a bit more insight into Pi's mind, story is split into 2 books which makes the price quite steep, JittiRain's cp scenes are definitely an acquired taste and Pi & Mork's first time isn't an exception (it involves consent issues and mentions of pain- though nowhere near as bad as in 2gether)
JittiRain. "Theory of Love."

Genre: university
TV version: Theory of Love
Translation: I've apparently purchased this one but never read it (oops!) but it should be on par with JittiRain's other novels. I''ll get back to you once I've read it.
Translation: I've not read this one yet, story is split into two books but at least on amazon the price is okay, the novel and the tv-show were written side-by-side.
littlebbear96. "Bed Friend."

Genre: office, friends with benefits, high heat
TV version: Bed Friend
Translation: I read The Middleman's Love first and really liked it, so reading Bed Friend felt a bit like coming home. The story is quite a bit more spicy and tense but always respectful and kind to its characters.
littlebbear96. "The Middleman's Love."

Genre: office, high heat
TV version: Middleman's Love (not yet released)
Translation: This has quickly becomes one of my faves. A quiet, fluffy story without much tension but the characters (esp Jade!) and the writing style more than make up for it.
MAME. "Love Sky."

TV version: Love in the Air (Phrapai/Sky)
Translation: This is a very good translation for a good price. If you loved the series you'll love this too.
MAME: "Love Storm."

TV version: Love in the Air (PhayuRain)
Translation: This is a very good translation for a good price. I couldn't get into some of register/slang. I know Rain's supposed to speak casually but it just makes him sound strange. This is up to personal taste though. Other than that, if you loved the series you'll love this too.
ONYX BEAST. "The Forest of Love."

Genre: suspense, time jump, crime
TV version: none (afaik)
Translation: This is about a forest ranger and a vet (student). I started reading the preview and tbh the translation is barely better than most of the stuff you'd find on wattpad. I don't think I'll spend any money on this unless it gets picked up as a tv series.
Rangsimant, Patrick. "7 Days Before Valentine."

Translation: I haven't read this one yet but Pat uses the same translator for all of his English novels so if you like his work you'll probably like this one, too

Translation: a high quality translation, but as with pretty much all Thai BL translations, in need of an editor. This story doesn't have a tv version but I really, really hope it'll eventually get one because it's my favourite BL novel
Rangsimant, Patrick. "My Ride, I Love You."

Genre: medical, slice of life, low heat (cp scenes with a fade-to-black)
TV version: My Ride
Translation: one of the best translations out there imo, comes with footnotes that explain unfamiliar cultural/linguistic concepts. Pat has a nice flowing style and often writes about concepts close to his work (he's a neurologist - sometimes his writing gets almost philosophical and I absolutely love it!), he's my favourite BL author and one of the BL genre's few openly gay authors, an interesting thing to know: this story first started out on twitter with each paragraph posted as tweets
Sammon. "Manner of Death."

Genre: medical, crime, thriller, low heat (cp scenes with a fade-to-black)
TV version: Manner of Death
Translation: a good enough translation on par with most other Thai BL novels, Sammon specialises in medical thrillers and often writes about serious topics (in this book: police corruption, abortion, human trafficking), Sammon's novels read more like queer fiction than BL as her characters are more mature/realistic than your average BL character
Sammon. "Spare Me Your Mercy."

Genre: medical, crime, thriller, police, low heat (cp scenes with a fade-to-black)

Translation: a good enough translation on par with most other Thai BL novels, my favourite of Sammon's novels, deals with euthanasia, murder and the love story between a doctor and a police inspector, Dr. Bunn (Manner of Death) makes a cameo

Translation: the direct sequel to "Manner of Death", will most likely be turned into a tv-show with MaxTul our beloveds, this is on my reading list

Translation: I only just started reading this, a good English translation that could do with some editing (then again, so could ALL BL novels), for some reason this doesn't have Jinta (yet?), I'll report back once I'm further into the story, Dr. Bunn (Manner of Death) makes a cameo
Violet Rain. "I Feel You Linger in the Air."

Genre: time travel, historical, reincarnation
TV version: I Feel You Linger in the Air (not yet released)
Translation: I didn't expect this to be so descriptive and story-driven. It reads like a historical novel with lots of detail put on historical Chiang Mai and its people. The POV character, Jom, is very observant and curious. If the tv series is even half as good as this then we're all set.
