osomatsu - yes! until he gets drunk and forgets, probably. big "what was i doing again?" energy

karamatsu - yes! but as he's taking you for your daily walk that you do not need, he drops you on the ground D: and then he picks up a different conveniently-above-ground worm, and so you are left there. on the ground

ichimatsu - yyyyyyyyno. no probably not :( he'd be more likely to set up a nice little terrarium for you and "convince" karamatsu to take care of you because he can hardly take care of himself tbh. also the cats might get to you so really he's just protecting you

jyushimatsu - he would be more likely to eat you before realizing whats happened tbh. not like "haha jyushi eats bugs" but...yknow... jyushi 100% eats bugs sometimes. but only if they look tasty.

osomatsu would tease a shorter partner by putting his arm on their head and giving them a height-related nickname (shortcake, for example). for a taller partner he'd probably be a little bit jealous about the height difference especially if his partner presents themself more femmininely. would still crack jokes but mostly to feel better about himself. will stop if it does genuinely bother his partner, esp if they tease him about his height in return to prove a point (though he might not mind being called "little bunny" or "lil cutie" tbh...)

karamatsu would prefer a shorter partner because of his "natural protector/alpha instincts." gags he'd call them sweet things like his little dove or his doll and, if he's able to lift them, then you can bet your bum that it'll be impossible for him to put them down. for a taller partner he'd maybe be a little bummed at first... and he'd likely use the same names he'd use for a shorter partner. but eventually he'd realize that Hey, a Tall Partner is cool! because now he's the one getting the surprise forehead kisses...and getting hugged from behind...and it just feels nice.

Osomatsu was stretched across the floor, flipping through a magazine when he heard an "Ow, fuck!" followed by a loud clatter. He scrambles to his feet and rushes to where the noise came from, nearly faceplanting into a wall as he slid across the floor.

"Are you okay?! Do you need help?! An ambulance?!" If his face didn't show his panic, then his voice definitely did. His eyes were wide as he took in his roommate/crush holding their hand in a small towel and a knife on the ground.

"No, no, I'm okay - I spaced out a little bit, it's fine, I'm good. Just need a, uh, bandage. Or some gauze. I don't need stitches though, I swear." They send Osomatsu as reassuring a look as they can despite the pain they were in.

karamatsu

You look up from your spot on the couch, temporarily placing down your reading/listening material in order to unravel yourself from the large blanket you were in. Karamatsu appears through the doorway, grumbling quietly to himself. His eyebrows are down-turned and there is a scowl on his face.

"What did you say, Kara?" you ask out of concern for the male. His eyes soften when he catches your worried gaze, and he forces a smile onto his face.

"It's nothing, my darling. There's no need for that look."

You pout slightly before wrapping yourself up once more. "Well..." Your teeth chew on your lower lip for a short moment before you continue with, "I'm here if you need me, okay?"

"Thank you, my love."

osomatsu would probably stay up with them accidentally (as well as fall asleep without realizing it). he'll try to help how he can but he doesn't really understand insomnia . (despite the fact that he suffers from acute insomnia during the colder months)

karamatsu would try (and likely fail) to help. fluffy pillows, a nice warm blanket, singing a lullaby... he tries his best to stay up to keep his partner company but falls asleep within a 30-min time frame of his usual bed time

ichimatsu is also an insomniac... but he doesn't want to spend all of his waking moments with someone. if it helps his partner then he wouldn't mind having them on the phone until they maybe fall asleep (if he has a phone, ofc), but otherwise he'll just kind of. make sure they know he's around.

jyushimatsu does with his partner what his does with ichimatsu - that is, he falls asleep while talking to them about methods that he uses to fall asleep. the methods are apparently very affective if they put him to sleep as he's talking about them

osomatsu would enjoy a super affectionate partner, though he'd likely be upset if they didn't have the same libido that he does :/ he still enjoys the snuggling...but he will pout about it tbh.

karamatsu loves affection. craves it, even. will take in all of the affection and then send it back tenfold. is sometimes annoying about it though - so dont spoil him "too" much. or else he'll probably bother you 24/7

ichimatsu would Not enjoy it. he would need to be slowly introduced and built up to the point of being able to handle someone that's super affectionate. he's kind of a "let's just sit across the room from each other in silence" person. on a good day he'll lay his head in your lap tho

jyushimatsu's forms of affection are 1) using you like a training weight (lifting/push ups/etc) and 2) octopus holding you until you tap out. is that really what you would want? if yes then he's all for whatever affection you throw his way. he'll absorb it and use it as energy

osomatsu - he'll usually just walk in and grab whatever drink is waiting on the counter tbh. if he does Actually order something, though, cinnamon caramel creme cold brew + extra foam + extra sprinkles. also likes cake pops

karamatsu - vanilla bean creme frap & chocolate croissant or cheese danish. (maybe a cake pop if feelin fancy). (usually results in him on the toilet cause too much milk)

ichimatsu - will order a plain cold coffee if he's with people. if ordering thru the app will get a latte (flavor dependent on season) or an iced shaken espresso.

jyushimatsu - pineapple passionfruit lemonade. no food, only lemonade. (will try to ask for just the fruit pieces sometimes.)

You glance around to see if you could catch anyone wandering away from view, but all you manage to find is a small brown box with a white envelope attached. If it weren't for it having your name on it, you probably would have just left it there. After closing the door, undoing the chain, and reopening it, you bring the package inside. Holding the envelope up to the light reveals an oddly-shaped piece of paper - somewhat like a teardrop, but not exactly? Odd.

You leave the gift on the coffee table, too nervous to actually do anything about it, and return to cleaning. It was a great way to procrastinate things that you needed to do.

You sit down later with a small snack. Cleaning had only taken a few hours, and it was quite late enough to justify making dinner...sadly. It was a great way to procrastinate, and yet it never seems to last long enough. This box, though, could likely sit there forever.

It made you nervous, though, staring at you like that. Taunting you with the endless possibilities it could hold. Maybe you should just start with the envelope, you convince yourself. The envelope would be less likely to hurt you, unless it had glitter inside of it.

With that thought, you sit down your snack and snatch up the envelope. You open it carefully, and pull out... a folded heart? Eh? The color of it takes you off-guard the most. The color is a bright...
