Elf November has landed himself in the hospital after conducting one of his crazy experiments and is so bored he could ram his head into the wall.

The only bright side? A nurse by the name of Alf Parkington.

Loooooong time no see everyone. Honestly, I feel like such a neglectful parent, not posting anything since around Christmas. But inspiration and creativity have continued to elude me these past few weeks. I haven’t even come up with any good imagine scenarios!

This piece was a short drabble I've been meaning to write for quite a while. I had hoped that writing it now would help get some creativity going again, and motivate me to actually get my butt in gear and push the two fanfics I have on the backburner out of the planning stages.

Imagine Elf, just eight months old tearing gleefully into shining wrapping paper, scattering the pieces everywhere. Imagine Elf more interested in playing with the paper and making a huge mess than his new toys.

Imagine Alf, a month younger than his eventual best friend, slowly and methodically as a baby can removing the wrapping on his presents. Imagine him admiring the presents for a few minutes before crawling back over to his parents for cuddles, clutching one of his favorites in his hand.

Imagine Alba, at nine months old, happily reveling in the atmosphere and proudly showing his presents to his parents, handing them to the adults as though to share them and silently ask his parents to play with him.

Imagine Ros, seven months old, preferring to smack his father and the three year old Crea with the presents as they are handed to him rather than unwrap them. Rchimedes and Crea end up being the ones to remove the wrapping paper and are then hit with the newly revealed toys. However, Ros stops after a minute and crawls into his father’s lap, finally playing with them like they were intended.

Imagine Crea, at eight months old, with the brightest infectious grin you’ve ever seen on a child, helping his parents to unwrap their presents and presenting them to their owners. To his parents’ amusement, Crea is more interested in giving them their presents than opening his own.

Imagine Ares, just shy of two months old, cooing and babbling in her mother’s lap as her parent’s open her presents and hand them to her. One of her presents is a squeaky hammer that she instinctively grips in her hand, and, to her parents’ surprise, delightedly bangs it against everything around her.

Imagine nine month-old Hime, confusing her mother by only glancing at the floor covered in presents and continuing to look around the room. Finally, her mother understands when she hears her infant daughter say, “Papa?” He was once again absent.

Imagine nearly six month-old Foy-Foy, aggressively teething everything given to him, whether it’s unwrapped or not. He ends up ‘unwrapping’ most of his gifts with his emerging teeth and having his parents pull bits of paper and ribbon from his mouth before he swallows them. Finally they just hand him a candy cane and open the rest for him.

Imagine Ruki at four months old, eagerly reaching for the shiny, colorful toys that her parents are handing to her, squealing in delight at the sounds some of them make. She ends up engrossed in play and starts to cry the moment her mother or father tries to pull her out of her ring of new toys.

Imagine Rchimedes II, still trying to organize the demon world, exhausted from his efforts and in need of a break. He decides to pop over to the human world, not realizing that it is Christmas. He sees the decorations and hears cheery “Merry Christmas!”s from strangers. Curious, he asks a bystander what this holiday is and learns about Christmas in detail from them. The idea of a holiday dedicated to family and generosity brings a smile to his face. The Second decides to introduce it to the demon world as soon as possible.

Before anyone asks, no I have no idea when Alf’s birthday is because Haruhara has never mentioned it. I just head cannon Alf’s birthday as April 30th to mark the end of the month in contrast to Elf’s being the beginning of the month.

And yes, I did actually look up all of their birthdays and calculate their ages for their first Christmases. Babies develop remarkably fast before they’re a year old, what they can and can’t do varies a lot from month to month and I wanted to be accurate.

Merry Christmas everyone! Or, if you celebrate something else, Happy Chrismahaunnaqwanzika! That should cover all my bases right?

Oh, why am I not surprised!

I know that if a sword has cared maintenance it can last forever, like family heirlooms and such last for generations.

From what little I know, I’ve come to think that the Dimensional Rift doesn’t distort the aging process but just distorts time. In the DR you could be 21 years old, but the second you leave, your body continues aging from where it left off.

So the DR affects the external time around you, but not the internal time of your aging body clock. Does that make sense?

Does anyone have a better idea?

I’m baaaack~ and this time with a piece centered around Salt and Lake! Gotta change things up every once in a while you know? As much as I am utter RosAl trash, I know there are other fans out there who want to see more than RosAl fanfiction.

Don’t go into this thinking it’s going be a lighthearted comedy like the werewolf AU I posted before. This is not a happy story. If I don’t get called a horrible person at least once for this I will disappointed.

On another note, since I’m not even sure where I stand on the SaltLake ship, let alone the rest of the fandom, I wanted to write this with their relationship open to interpretation.

I was also planning a more overtly Elf/Alf piece for Halloween, but it’s more likely that it will be posted weeeelllll after. I still have to fully flesh out my idea and there are other, far more important, things I need to be working on. Ugh, real life.

My only thought was a “Where’s Yuusha?” book where instead of a red stripped shirt it’s a black and white one.
