But seriously, he’d be quite annoyed most of the time, especially while he’s working.

It makes him feel guilty having you do everything yourself, so he’ll finally give in and take little breaks from time to time.

You lobe that :) Both because you can take a break and because you can see Shuichi more.

Shuichi isn’t the best with children, especially children that act like this.. so he’d be more nervous with the child than his work.

He’d manage over time though!

Honestly.. he may have Kokichi, or someone like Kaede babysit while you two have dates.

Why?

Kokichi is childish as well, though he’ll be grumpy with how fussy the child is, he can calm the child down easily with things like puzzles, or toys he brought.

Kaede is more serious, her piano playing may interest the child.. they can play a toy piano together! The ringing of the keys though hurts her ears.. as long as the child is having fun though!

On free days, he likes it when the whole family can cuddle up together and watch a movie. It’ll take a lot of bribing to get your child to hold still though.. but with enough popcorn it’ll work.

At first, he thought he wouldn’t be a great dad, but...

Shuichi

Tries to make up excuses not to, because he knows he’s going to get sick.

“I-I can’t dance-” Which is true, he can’t, but you continue to beg anyway.

“Pleeeease! It’ll be so much fun!!”

Eventually he gave in, out of spite because of his headache.

Made sure he got an umbrella, which you whined at.. you can’t dance with an umbrella!

He sighed, smiling, “Okay, fine...”

He put the umbrella away and headed outside with you, his shoulders tensing once the rain hit his scalp.. cold.

He let you take the lead, grabbing his hands and swinging them around.. until you offered a slow dance, which he agreed to.

It was awkward, not having any song to dance to.. just pure rain.

CRASH!

Uh oh.

“W-We better head in--” Doesn’t give you a choice, just tugs you inside.

You both got colds.

Kokichi

Sure!! Absolutely!! He was just about to ask the same!!

Doesn’t even get his shoes on and dashes outside with you, which hurt his feet, so he went back in to put them on while whining like a child.

“Mehhh.. curse these roads!! Curse them all to hell!!” “Shhh!!”

Finally he got his shoes on, crocs.. and dashed outside!!

He was the one that did the arm swinging, you giggling and following along.

“Badbaba danbdababa!!!” He sung, “Bada ba ba baaa~ I’m lovin ittt~”

Was that the mcdonalds- CRASH!

“..WAAAAH-” “Shuuush!! Inside! In in!”

You had to push him inside, which had him trip and land face first onto the floor.

“....WAAAAH-”

He notices it immediately.. he’s a detective, after all.

Waits until you’ve settled down a little.. then brings it up, and offers to help in any way he can.

Shuichi can relate to you in some way, sometimes a criminal can be ‘proven’ not guilty at trials, and it frustrates him... a lot.

First things first, he smothers you with kisses. He’s stiff with it, but he covers your face with them until you start giggling.

Then, he gets your comfort food.. he always has it ready for you just in case you’re craving it, or upset.

Wraps you in a blanket.. and asks if you need anything.

If you need, or want something, he’ll get it for you the best he can. Maybe a stuffed animal? A drink? You got it.

If you don’t need anything, he’ll cuddle close to you and talk about his day.. purposely missing the bad bits, and only talking about the parts that’ll bring a smile to your face..

After that, he’ll switch on one of your favorite movies, or a movie you’ve wanted to watch for months now (yes, he’ll buy it for you for this occasion..).

He waits for you to fall asleep until bringing you to your room for you to rest...

Shuichi

Most likely happened when you two were playing something on his day off.

It’s most likely a multi-player game..

He’ll watch you play, or you’ll watch him play, doesn’t matter..

He was watching you play, him dying as soon as as he respawned.

It’s quite nerve-wracking to watch.. you take such odd risks while being so far into the game!

And then, you died.

“Fuuuucking hell! Did you see how far I got? That’s fucking bullshit!”

...

???? Huh?

“S/o--” “Yeah yeah I know that what I did was risky but jesus christ! How the fuck did I mess up after all of that?!”

..Okay then.

Kokichi

It happened when you got caught in one of his traps.

He decided it’d be funny for him to do the classic ‘bucket full of water on top of a door’ trick the same day you were going to an important event.

He was giggling the entire time he set it up..

“They’re gunna be sooo piiissed!”

He sat down like nothing happened when he heard you coming.

Splash!

Cue his snide giggling, it got all over your fancy clothes!

“..Kokichi. Do you know just how fucking important the event I’m going to is?! The host has been planning this out for months already?!” 

More giggling... which made you more mad. The cycle continues.

Rantaro

When you were making ‘welcome home’ dishes for him. He’s been out traveling for a while now.. so why not?

He ended up coming back home before you finished, which wasn’t really a problem, though you did intend for it to be a surprise... it’s okay though!

You were making his favorite.. he was working forward to it.

Amami was up changing into his cozy attire in the bedroom, but then..

CRASH!

It startled him.

“SHIT! Shit shit shit- I’m sorry hun!! Hold on-- don’t come down yet! Fuck...”

..But that startled him more.

Now he’s laughing, coming down to help you clean up the mess you made, then insisted on takeout.

Kokichi would be acting like his normal, teasing, only slightly suspicious self. Even if he didn't need to, as no one there knew him, he would act this way to keep his game interesting

Everyone would be suspicious of him, despite him not showing any traits of being dangerous yet. Unlike normal Kokichi, he wouldn't want to be suspected of being the mastermind so he'd occasionally be of help and would put on an extra layer of lies to seem innocent in some cases

He wouldn't find it a challenge to place flashback lights where they needed to beb as his character already had the ability to be sneaky

Surprisingly, he would be less hated than normal Kokichi. As his goal is to create as much despair as possible, therefore, he doesn't want to be found out too quickly and will tone his personality down a bit when everyone starts ganging up on him. At least in their daily life in the game

In the trials, however

He's like normal Kokichi but worse

In order to prevent the trial from ending too quickly, he'll make up lies as much as possible, prolonging the trial to the best of his ability, despite knowing it makes him look suspicious. He'll even use monokuma to do so

Speaking of monokuma, Kokichi hates using him. He knows Junko had used him and that he is a symbol of despair but he finds monokuma to be incompetent and an insult to his authority in the killing game.

At least that's what he says, no one knows nor do they want to know the real reason. Kokichi prefers to do things on his own, he doesn't want monokuma or the kubs screwing things up for him like they did with the memories at the beginning.

The only time he uses monokuma is to put people in their place when he can't due to him hiding his identity as the mastermind, to explain things and to go along with him in trials as long as he follows Kokichi's every instruction

Oddly enough, even monokuma is terrified of Kokichi, perhaps he shouldn't of been given the power of the mastermind

In the final trial, when he knows his identity has to be revealed, he is faced with the decision of whether or not to kill everyone for a despair filled ending or have them defeat the mastermind and keep the despair of his plan "failing" to himself

He knows he has the brains and power to get the ending he wants, both endings despairing but both he wins, in a way

No one was shocked when he was revealed to be the mastermind but everyone was surprised by how much of an act he was putting on and how they didn't see through it sooner

In the end, Kokichi decided it was best for everyone to put an end to his game, knowing he had killed all of his friends, lied to them, only to be killed and will have to face them all in the afterlife...

Shuichi

Physical touch, words of affirmation, quality time.

His detective work gets in the way a lot.. so he can’t spend as much time with you as he wants.

Shuichi feels like he’s doing a bad job when looking at a case as well. With how tired he is, and how much work is piled onto him nearly every day.. he’d appreciate some time with you, and you giving him a few praises while you’re at it.

He’ll return the favor eventually, whether that be a gift or a dinner date.

Either way, he appreciates it.

Kokichi

Receiving gifts, physical touch, acts of service.

Spoiled brat.

Will BEG for you to get something for him (ofc you don’t have to get it, he just does it to get on your nerves).

Really does appreciate it when you actually give him it though.. then he’ll feel bad later on about it.

Touch starved most of the time, he’s like a damn koala... he’ll cling onto your leg and ask for cuddles. Though, most of the time he’s waaay too hyper to properly cuddle.

Really good at it, but will get voted off because people annoyed him.

Always blames you.. even when he’s imposter with you.

Speaking of!!

When he’s imposter, he follows you around a lot. When meetings get called because someone is sus of it-- he just says something like, ‘That’s my S/O of cooourse I’d follow them! Even into the vents!”

Rats you out but somehow you two win?? Should you thank him or..?

You don’t.

On date nights, he likes when he’s up against your chest and watching you play, puffing his cheeks when you vote the wrong person out.. I mean c’mon! How did you not tell pink was sus?? Tsk tsk.

Sometimes when it’s the other way around, where you’re laying on him, you like to click the buttons while he’s playing.. it always ticks him off.
