In hindsight, perhaps taking both Chinese and Japanese at the same time wasn’t the best idea. In that same vein, maybe keeping a consistent upload schedule while I’m in university wasn’t the best plan I’ve ever had. University is fun, I swear. At least now I can mostly pretend to know what I’m reading in either language? That’s the fun part, impressing people by writing something like “想是想，可是我没有钱 “ or “毎日トイレで安すいビールを飲みます"。

Bonus Points to anyone who can translate those!

Chrollo Lucilfer

Out of all pets, Chrollo would most like a cat. The only problem here is that the places he stays are so inconsistent that he had never considered getting an animal companion. So, when his S/O turns up out of the blue with one, he is a bit conflicted as to how he feels about it. 

In terms of aesthetics, cats suit him rather well but he’s got a soft spot for black cats who are all too often overlooked due to the stigma they carry. They also just fit his very gothic style and would look right at home next to him, but, at the end of the day, he’s not about to hate a cat because of the color of it’s fur. 

He ends up bonding with the animal a lot more than he ever thought he would, as the cat often lays in his lap when he’s reading a book or when he’s directing the spiders. The must surprising thing for Chrollo is the cat’s willingness to follow him around, he expected that, as soon as he had to move his base of operations, the cat would stay in familiar territory but it kept appearing wherever he went.  It did wonders in helping him bond with the animal and, after that, he truly considers the cat as much his pet as his S/O’s. 

It is something I’ve thought about, and since it’s really only me left, it would be really nice to work with someone again. I sometimes can be a bit picky on format but I’ll edit anything, it really doesn’t bother me. Hmm, well, if someone wants to be a mod just feel free to shoot me a message either through here (not on anon) or to my personal blog @languagegeekblr and I’ll respond ASAP <3. Yes! This blog is still active, I check it every day and have been trying to keep it uploaded. However, after a few personal loses I’m finding it really hard to concentrate on any one thing.. I’ll get back to it as soon as I can. Thanks for being understanding!

Yes! I’m really glad you liked it, even though I added a nice angsty comment right at the end. Yes, Kite is a beautiful boyfriend that we should all stan, one to bring home to your parents. Loyal, patient, loving.. he’s great. Unfortunately, the name Mod Trash reflects my absolutely garbage taste in men.

Kite’s S/O always knew he was a competent hunter, someone who was fair, kind, and one hell of a fighter, but there was a gut feeling, deep in their stomach, that perhaps the chimera ants were going to be too much for Kite to handle. As much as she tried to ignore it, that thought rooted itself deep into her mind before she had a chance to stop it. 

Since he was often not at home, as he was busy researching Chimera Ants in their early stage, he didn’t notice that his S/O was having nightmares especially ones that were this bad. 

Coming home late one night he hears his S/O mumbling his name whilst thrashing in the covers. He was stunned still for a second before he ran to their side, and shook them awake. 

There weren’t many words exchanged between them as Kite quickly took them, half asleep, into his arms. He’s actually a bit panicked, to see her that upset; not only because they were his S/O but it was just a stressful situation. Kite, typically, is rather empathetic under his cool exterior so when someone else is crying he also feels the need to empathize with them.

He figures this might be because he’s not been around, so he wants to make sure that, at least tonight, he spoils them a bit. He lays down and pulls them on top of him, rubbing their back affectionately. 

At some point he asks them what the problem was, especially after they’ve calmed down and reassures them that he’s got everything under control and that he’s safe. With a bit of emotional reassurance and a bit of physical love, he feels like he’s reassured them enough to go to sleep for the night. 

It is no secret that Shaiapouf is a bit eccentric in his love, choosing to obsess over it and become possessive in record speed. He has many ideas, mainly from human observation and books, and these are the ideas that he holds himself and his partner to. Unless they have a very convincing alternate idea he can devote himself to. 

In many of the books he’s read, it’s common for couples to hold hands, hug, kiss, all sorts of things he’s not experienced before. Even without that experience he’s very eager to properly fulfill his role as their partner by emulating all of these things as quickly and efficiently as possible.

He is far better at expressing himself physically then verbally, so, to express just how much in love he is, he likes to be around his S/O at all times. If they are away from him for too long he usually gets quite upset. So, instead of preforming all his duties by himself, he just drags them along with him.

If he’s got to hypnotize a gigantic human population for his king? He’s carrying his S/O in his arms, careful not to let them get too affected. If he’s preforming for the king? He’d love if his S/O would sit next to him. So on and so forth. 

He’s a big snuggler, he absolutely adores being wrapped up in a tangle of limbs with him. Snuggling is not just a night time activity, it’s something he enjoys doing in his off time. He enjoys reading, but it’s even better with his S/O curled up on his chest. 

While he enjoys being the larger one in the relationship, the one who is the “big spoon” so to speak he does have a softer side that enjoys things like getting held. He loves thinking that, one day, he could rest his head in their chest while they stroke his hair; or that, one day, he can nap with his head on their thighs. 

He also has a penchant for kisses, though he prefers pecks to open mouth kissing. He loves to pepper their face with kisses and, on occasion, their whole body. He read once, about a certain Gothic family, that the head of the house would trail kisses from his wives fingers, up their arms, up the neck, and to their lips.
