- Darry’s favorite color is burgundy- he has thicker eyebrows than most, but they suit his face- he doesn’t get sunburnt in the summer, his skin just tans- he really wants a golden retriever but knows he wouldn’t be home enough to take care of it and can’t take on the added responsibility- would’ve studied economics or pre-law in college- he loooOOOvvveesss Elvis- his favorite song is Burnin’ Love- he spends the most time out of anyone combing his hair and styling it- lowkey paranoid that he’s going gray- he’s a perfectionist and his room is neurotically clean- when Ponyboy ran away and didn’t come home, Soda was trying to comfort him, all he could say was “I hit him. I didn’t mean to.” over and over again - he’s such a gentleman :’)- in high school, girls fawned over him but he was oblivious - wants a big family one day- the thought of Ponyboy or Sodapop moving out makes him extremely sad- he wants Ponyboy to stay local for college, but hopes that he gets into somewhere prestigious and knows that he’d be better off leaving Tulsa- misses his dad all of the time- infamous quote: “You don’t stop living because you lose somebody.” but after his parents died, it took everything he had to keep going and take care of his brothers- considers Pony and Soda his best friends
