in a fantasy setting she wouldnt be a wizard or anyone who actually wields magic. She'd be a regular person who cant wield magic who parades as someone who CAN and stupifying all fellow magic users by doing things that should be impossibly by that worlds laws of magic.

In all honesty, because she can only see the ugly sides of herself as the real her, she feels a lot of self hatred. And it's this dissoncance between how she feels she DESERVES to be treated badly, but is loved by everyone that makes her feel even MORE disconnected from others than she already does.

So in the meantime, for those curious This is Moon.

Moon is someone who at a very young age. Was like. People always say they love me. But I dont FEEL loved. Like she felt like they cared more about how much she could please them more than. Her as a person. So she began acting in a way that was very much the typical good girl that would please adults but very different from herself naturally. More to just prove a point to herself. But moon is someone who at her core cannot HELP but do her best at anything she does. As time went on she began refining this persona of hers, learning what people liked, didn’t, how to create a persona that could make everyone happy but still feel like the same person. And it became this thing COMPLETELY seperate from her original goal until she completely forgot who she was originally. Tricking people into buying her act became a skill that she took pride in. And now she’s at a point where she doesn’t even know what part of her is the act and which is her honest feelings. She can only identify the negative parts of herself, the ugly parts of herself, as what is truly hers because it has no place in her ‘act’ shes come to view all the ‘good’ in her as fake her and all the ‘bad’ in her as the real her. So she thinks of herself as wholly bad. because it’s the only thing she knows for sure is real. And she’s left with this warped misunderstanding of herself and her intentions and is completely incapable of distinguishing the fact she was always someone naturally self sacrificing to begin with.

Ah, to be young and energetic. And sneaky. If Hala hadn’t noticed the light coming from underneath the stage, he might have been caught off-guard by the girl’s sudden appearance.

“That stage has been here in some shape or form as long as I can remember. Of course, I do occasionally have to replace broken pieces, but altogether it’s been holding up well.” 

“Fascinating!” Moon pulled the rest of her body out from underneath the platform and began analyzing the the surface with the new information. “In other words, despite its’ age it’s still able to withstand all those battles with minimal maintenance. I wonder if this is the result of some special alolan form of building. Or maybe because of the materials,” Her back suddenly straightened.

“Incredible!!” Moon ran her hands along the wooden platform, eyes shining with delight and curiosity. “I can’t believe this can withstand all those pokemon battles. I wonder what it’s made from! Is it held together by nails?” She took her time studying the structure, even going as far to crawl underneath, using her rotomdex for light. 

Noticing the feet of the Kahuna from the other side she quickly pulled herself out.

Moon had always found sickly sweet love to be revolting. It was nothing but the act of fools who needed something to pass the time before moving on to their next plaything. It wasn’t much different than her, but they  were painfully less aware. Of course, it had it’s uses to her, after all, it acted as effective bait to pull in idiotic men who thought a kind act was the same as romantic interest.

For Xavier though? It seemed she was slowly becoming somewhat of an idiot, herself.
