hunter roller his dark eyes. what he was doing wasnât even near overreacting compared to the tantrums she threw at times. it was still a mystery to the man that she failed to see how this would have went down if he had been the one flirting with other girls. additionally, if hunter had been in her place heâd be apologizing ten times over, but that was one of the things that made them so incredibly different. thankfully, he wasnât a ticking bomb like her. he just got grumpy, which became even more obvious when olivia squeezed his cheeks and he ended up roughly grabbing her wrist to guide it away from his face with a bitter expression â tensing his jaw and glaring at her annoying grin. â well i figured iâd surprise you, but obviously you have better things to do. â
a hint of annoyance swept across her features, giving an edge to the amused expression on her face. she didn't bother struggling against his hold around her wrist; she knew he'd let go of her eventually. no matter how bad things got, no matter how many buttons she pushed, hunter would never hurt her. "stop bein' a grump," she repeated, gently attempting to wriggle out of his grasp. he'd always known the nature of her occupation, so she never felt the need to apologize for what she did. it wasn't as if she were cheating on him â and despite any sort of flirtations she employed while she was on shift, she only ever cared about hunter. "i don't ask you to come over 'cause i know it'll piss you off. i don't have better things to do. i'm workin', alright? if you can't handle that, you should leave. i promise i'll suck your dick when i get home, if thatâll make you feel better."
