A rather unique take on the prompt, but Kimbley is most definitely amused by this response.

A giggle couldn't stop itself from escaping her throat, not only at the young man's kindness but also at the title of chapter of book he happened to be reading once she leaned forward on the bed and snatched it out of his hands.

"White Stains....by George Archibald Bishop." she said casually, flipping through the aged book, "... Hmm. Sounds like a fake name."

Mother leaned in towards Kimbley with a smile, letting an excellently-manicured finger fan through the worn edges of the compendium, "Are these too dirty for you to read to me? These aren't nearly as bad as anything Dylan was showing Norman. This is kind of romantic in comparison to stuff these days. Goodness, no, not my sensibilities!"
