Text to Unknown: Uhm, could you maybe look? I don't mind. oh, by the way, I'm Kou.

He looks at his phone well beyond confused before he takes a breath and replies. “Uhm… I.. have.. met?”

He replies after a couple moments. “In all honesty I’m not sure how to react. Is this a normal thing humans do?”

"You can sketch if you’d like. We have an area far from the pools and it stays plenty dry. Would you like that? You can still see the pool, but you won’t get wet in any way. Its alright to be afraid, but don’t let it incapacitate you." Gou gave the other a very soft smile before promptly introducing herself. “I’m Kou!”  The girl perked up again, her tones were vibrant and seemed to resonate like a tune. She just hoped she could comfort this girl, make her feel alright. 

Yue nodded enthusiastically about staying dry. “Yue Kobayashi. My family is only here for the month.” she said before gulping when another splash was made. “Oh Isis, I’m killing that brother of mine.” she muttered now trying to blend into the wall. Well more like become one with it. 

“Right this way…”Gou brought her to where a few chairs were set up in the far corner. They had been left abandoned for a long duration of time, but now they were going to be given some attention. “Is there a reason why you fear water, Yue-san?” 

Yue sighed. “Before…I was taken in by the circus, I almost drowned. My cat had gotten caught off guard when she went to go hunt for fish. I never learned how to swim but the only thing that I could think of was to save her. Well you can imagine how well that went.” she explained though the last part of her sentence sounded more bitter. “One of the locals saw me and dove in to save me and my cat. Since then, I haven’t stepped anywhere near a pool, river, or the ocean.” 

"I see, that is rather traumatic so I can understand why you were so mentally scarred. I could never imagine anything like that happening. My brother and all my friends are swimmers. I am the manager of the Iwatobi Swim Club, so water is important to me. But, in this place, you aren't forced to swim if you feel uncomfortable and so we let you choose." She led the girl to the seats and turned. "You'll be safe here."
