here's the thing about demetri and his alliance and dedication to the volturi coven : IT IS UNWILLING , it's Chelsea forcing those emotions. His sire and his teacher is amun , he was completely fine in the Egyptian coven . he was a completely diff person there . NOW in the volturi coven he is silent , felix , heidi and the twins are the ones who hear him say a bit more than the necessary , he is cold and he feels his emotions are forced , he does believe in hierarchy but not the way aro does it . HE only has that gift of TRACKING SOULS because he always had a way as a human to understand what the other needed , he always knew where to find ppl of they hid bcs he had a talent at analysing ppl . Even when he disagrees with the leaders he gets away compared to felix because he talks when necessary and even knows how to approach the matter . fangs :vampires have 4 fangs , two on the top row and top on the lower row . the two on top are always there but the other 6 form when a vampire chooses to . it depends on how much harm they want to cause and how quickly they want to drink blood or how quickly they want to feed .

veins :since they are dead creatures the blood rots with time meaning it becomes black and so do their veins darken and become more visible under the skin . this being another reason vampires prefer the night , in the daylight the difference to a human is too strong and it gets too much unwanted attention or otherwise they just prefer wearing long armed clothes for the upper body and long pants , covering the legs . the shadow is again prefered because under the sun the black under the skin is too intense for somebody to not ask questions about it .
