Illustrator who became famous in the early 70s thanks to his work on the SF series Ginga Eiyū Densetsu for which he also designed spaceships. Some of his designs were later reused in a few eponymous games.
He also worked on the card game series Culdcept for which he provided the main illustrations. Although he worked on the first episode, he started illustrating cards with the 2nd episode. Some of his card illustrations were reused in later episodes.
He is a regular contributor to SF Magazine, a Japanese magazine started in 1960 which sometimes talk about video games –the July 2010 issue was dedicated to the Metal Gear series.
