1. Vinegar and Baking Soda to refresh those musty towels...is a keeper.
2. Making Fabric Softener...I've been doing it for months, can't tell the difference. Very cheap to make and a batch whips up in no time, even my 15 year old makes it when we run out...it's a keeper too. As you can see, I wrote the directions right on the jug. Â No need to measure the conditioner, it is the exact amount.
3. Â Cleaning the gross shower floor (don't judge me, it must be a problem if you don't have a maid or this person wouldn't have tried it in the first place). I don't really want to show my results (look away now if you are squeamish). Also, I used Ajax and not Dawn. Â I am going to try again with Dawn to see if it finishes the task.
AFTERÂ (note: this was after 2 separate 1 hour set and scrub sessions...)
4. No grate laundry detergent...my husband picked out the Dawn "scent" I told him he better like it, because I'm making A LOT of laundry detergent.
It seems very thin (but looks thin in the Pin too)...I'll report back on this one.
Just started the first load with this detergent.
What I can tell so far is that it doesn't suds up in the washing machine, not skeptical yet...
Update: so thin, it doesn't suds up and it really doesn't have a smell, BUT the clothes seem clean. Maybe I am just so used to thick detergent that suds and smells. Â I think I will also try the grate kind.
