I'm going to go check out Dear Evan Hansen in Theaters now! I got the opportunity to work on this production (in the COVID Dept.) following the pandemic lockdown and to say that this was one of the hardest departments I've worked in, is an understatement! The work wasn't difficult; it was more mentally challenging trying learn the protocols for a dept that's never existed in film and keep up with 3 different types of Covid testing systems for an entire crew 🥴. On top of that, my car was totaled during production and we also had to vote (all the things!) Despite the challenges; I'm thankful to have been able to find work when productions were still very skeptical about restarting. I planned a really ambitious weekend to do something nice for myself to celebrate my birthday this year because I've really had a crappy last few years and on top of that COVID happened 🙄. I got to work, go to the beach & still managed to make the concert at Music Midtown to see Miley Cyrus and it was incredible!!!
