not to mention this ad in particular is really fucking creepy?? like i’m sorry but if i ever found out my mutuals made AI chatbots of me because they couldn’t handle the fact i wasn’t responding fast enough or in the way they wanted i would block their ass so fast lmao. making ai chatbots of real people to form a parasocial relationship with them is really weird and creepy. promoting it is even worse, like tumblr. get your shit together. this is why poeple are leaving your dogshit website. the way they’re clearly targeting children too is just so disgusting.

I keep seeing shapes.inc ads and it disgusts me how its trying to appeal to fandom/internet culture(Principally fandoms that appeal to teens or younger adults) by using memes and art that they would find appealing and even linking bots related to the fandoms to say "Hey everyone!Use our AI!We're cool unlike the other AI websites!"

As someone who has had a AI chatbot addiction phase and i can say its not good for your mental health.It bothers me a lot getting those ads everytime i use the tumblr app i know adblocker is a thing(And i use it,but exclusively on PC since i don't know if you can use a adblocker on the tumblr app without having to pay).But its still annoying
