Behind every smile lies a secret just itching to be told. The Raven are a group of Idyllic University students who make it their mission to learn these secrets and share them through their blog.

This is a similar concept to Gossip Girl. For those who may be unfamiliar, please note the summary below:

Gossip Girl chronicles the scandals and intimate details of the characters' lives during high school, college and in the years that follow. All of their ups and downs are available for the public to read about. Throughout this time, the characters strive to unveil Gossip Girl's true identity while covertly engaging in disastrous schemes.

We encourage muns to give their muses a dirty little secret, submit it, and join in on the chaos that will surely ensue. All secrets, rumours, gossip and drama will always be confirmed with the respective muns and will not be published without their knowledge.

Everything shared on 'The Raven Chronicles' is strictly IC drama and is purely for fun and entertainment. You are allowed to not be a part of it, if you choose not to, just reach out to one of the head staff.

⋆. 𐙚 ˚ General Rules & Guidelines

𐙚 all muns need to be 20+. muses are allowed to be 18+ but muns must be 20+. 𐙚 be respectful of others. we have zero tolerance for hate, bullying, or disruptive behaviour. if you are having an issue with a fellow mun, feel free to reach out to one of the head admins. 𐙚 muse profiles must be completed within the enrolment period. to allow other muns/muses to learn a little about your muse, please make sure to provide a pinned profile. you have 48hrs to do submit this before your enrolment can be continued. you will be provided with an acceptance pack to help get started. 𐙚 ic drama ≠ ooc drama, and vice versa. what happens between muses does not correlate or represent how muns feel about each other. also, do not carry over drama from one muse to another. 𐙚 communication between muns is important. while plotting is important and recommended, sometimes we may have spur of the moment thoughts to spice up the scene. remember to communicate with fellow muns about such ideas so they are able to play along. ic drama must be consented by all parties involved first. 𐙚 use the correct tags for threads. nsfw, trigger warnings, and other sensitive content needs to be tagged properly and placed under a 'read more'. 𐙚 please share plot points with the group. to avoid overlaps, confusion, or taking attention away from others, it is required to share serious/relevant plot points within the server. 𐙚 the safeword phrase is 'it's as dreamy as a lilac sky'. if a mun uses this phrase, whatever is going on at that moment must be stopped with no drama or no questions asked. 𐙚 regular activity checks are carried out to ensure smooth progression. to prevent threads growing stale, muses sitting unused, or people being ignored in on-going threads, there will be regular checks carried out by the university staff. this is not to monitor anyone, this is not to force activity, but simply to ensure everything is running smoothly across the board. 𐙚 we work with a 'three strike' system across the board. after two strikes, you will be placed on probation and then removed. if you reapply, you will be on probation until you pass the next check. 𐙚 we have an academic period for applications and new muses. new muns can join at any time as 'transfer students'; existing muns will have to wait until the next enrolment period. 𐙚 new muns are allowed to enrol a max. two muses. after consistent activity and interactions, each mun is allowed to pick up a new muse each coming semester. however, there is a limit of 5 muses per mun.

⋆. 𐙚 ˚ Shipping & Connections

𐙚 no godmodding, controlling, or forced shipping. discuss, plot, and work out things with your fellow mun. do not force them to agree or dictate how their muse may react to things. 𐙚 avoid closed circuits/cliques. branch out to those around you. build new connections, develop fun dynamics and engage with whoever you can. this is a world we can grow together, not solo. it is okay to not mesh well with someone but try to avoid writing solely with the same 1 or 2 people. 𐙚 formal relationships, confirmed or endgame, must be placed within the muse profile. to allow a clear understanding on who are officially together/going to end up together eventually, please have a section within the muse profile. this allows everyone to be on the same page and to avoid awkward situations. we will update the relevant channel for easy access also. you must also notify when a ship is being dropped. 𐙚 ships must be present and active before officially being accepted as a couple. while we encourage connections of all types to be explored, when it comes to official and current couples, there has to be some form of evidence that they are interacting. 𐙚 please update admins about pre-established/past connections. this allows us to keep everything up to date and for everyone to know who dated who.

𐙚 discord activity ≠ tumblr activity. we will not restrict people being active on discord but this should not negate your activity on tumblr. try to work between both, if possible. 𐙚 these are real face claims that you are working with. be respectful. 𐙚 this is a place to have fun, connect, and enjoy. while the rules may seem comprehensive, they are there to ensure everyone is able to enjoy themselves while here.
