The album initially peaked at #149 in the US, but after the song “Wicked Game” was featured in David Lynch’s Wild at Heart the following year, it began to get airplay (and an accompanying video with Helena Christensen directed by Herb Ritts) and the Top Ten single propelled the album to #7 in early 1991. The album has sold nearly 3 million copies in the US alone.
