this “bon appetit” meme has turned into some sort of bizarre telephone game where each incarnation sounds more and more different than the original. in what way does “bon appetit” sound like “osteoporosis”

i don’t know but it’s cracking me up every time i even think about it

bon appetit -> bone apple teeth -> bone ??? ??? -> osteoporosis

It’s crazy how Europeans spent centuries colonizing, brutalizing and destabilizing most of the world and when the people from the places they worked (and are often still benefiting from) to destroy and exploit flee to Europe, they’re baffled and enraged. Why would your NHS nurse be Nigerian? Hmmm. I wonder who the Queen of Nigeria was up until 1963. Oh, you’re mad your new neighbors are Pakistani? I wonder who the head of the Commonwealth was there until 1972. This is truly baffling.
