Aujourd’hui, en France, 3 ménages sur 4 sont équipés en ordinateurs. L’ordinateur personnel est l’interface entre l’humain et ce vaste espace de stockage, de navigation et de possibilités. Chacun agence, à sa manière, ses dossiers dans son bureau, navigue à son rythme sur la Toile, monte des films, ouvre des documents... L’espace virtuel et personnel, est comparable à un espace réel et matériel. De plus, il offre des possibilités de personnalisation infinie.

A partir de ces observations, poser aux génération du numérique la question: Que faites-vous sur votre ordinateur, et qu’y trouve-t-on?

Les témoignages obtenus sont synthétisés dans des cartes, personnelles. Pour cela, mettre en place un langage universel qui symbolise les différents types de données, et agencer différemment les formes pour restituer en image chaque témoignage. Ce projet vise à rendre compte de la diversité des usages, et de la singularité de ces espaces virtuels, imbriqués dans des dispositifs impersonnels.
