dinner date :: ariana&justin

With the rest of the world, Justin always had to put up a front with everyone. He was never really his true self because he had so many people to impress. Ariana though, he impressed her just by being his lame self and he loved that. “Oh there you go with putting me in the friendzone again.” He said holding his heart as if he was hurt. “But no, for real you’re my girl Ari so no need to thank me. You can always be yourself around me it won’t change how much I love you at all.” He said, smiling looking back at her. Justin got up following her to the kitchen as he sat his plate with the rest of his dishes. “I mean I was just going to do them later but sure if you want to clean them by all means I’m not stopping you.” He laughed. “I have plenty for you to go through and pick out what one you like best.” He said, before realizing what he said. “Not that I have like bunch of girls over or anything but Hailey and Kendall are here quite a lot so they leave a lot of their bathing suits here.” Justin corrected himself. “I’m going to go change though, the girls bathing suits are in the guest bedroom closet. I’ll meet you in the hot tub.” He winked, before giving her a quick peck on the cheek and running up to his room to change.

Ariana knew that there was never anything to hide around Justin. When the two were together, they just instantly clicked without even trying. She wasn’t sure how it was possible, but it was possible. She would never question how amazing their relationship was. That was something that she would never jeopardize. Once he mentioned all the girls that came over, it made her think for a minute. It made her wonder if she was just another girl that was over that he flirted with. Though she never knew if their relationship was going anywhere, she always wanted to leave that up for him to decide what they were. There were so many things that she would feel for Justin, but sometimes she would be afraid to tell him about them because she wasn’t sure what he would think or feel about her. “I’ll go get changed and meet you there.” She replied and smiled at him while heading to the guest bedroom. She quickly picked out this pink swim suit that caught her eye immediately. Once she got all changed she walked over the the hot tub and didn’t see Justin, surprised that Justin wasn’t down there already considering it takes him a minimum of two seconds to get changed. Ari sat down in the hot tub an laid her head back waiting for the boy to get back.

Justin could tell she was blushing just by the way she was hiding her face. He had learned so much about her body language over the years he knew literally every mood she was in no matter how hard she tried to hide it from him. “Not true, I only love one specific dork and her name is Ariana. And since we aren’t fighting about it I guess I win.” He smirked. Justin knew now that both him and Ariana liked his cooking he’d be cooking a lot more. Mostly for Ariana though, cooking for anyone else would just be weird unless it was family of course. “Um no? I’m not cooking for you like ever again.” He said with a straight face before busting out laughing. “I’m totally kidding. Whenever you want some food made just hit my phone up girl and I got you.” He smiled, taking more bites of his food. Justin saw the blush appear on her face and it made him smile big. He liked it when she blushed, it made him feel like he was saying the right things to her and he just liked it. “A terrible best friend which you aren’t so I don’t gotta worry about that.” He smiled, finishing up his food. “And since you’re staying the night we’re going in my hot tub after you’re done eating because it will relax us after the night we had last night and c’mon hot tub and cuddling all in one night with me? It’s like your dream come true.”

Ariana absolutely loved how she never had to pretend to be anyone else when she was around him. She could always just be herself and never have to worry about him judging her at all. “I don’t think we even fight that much, now that I think about it. And I love it. I love not fighting with you. You’re just my best friend and I can always be so real around you so thank you for that.” She said smiling and looking up at him. Once she started finishing her food she got up and went to the sink to wash her plate. “Do you want me to go ahead and finish up these dishes over here? I don’t mind.” She said giving him a smile and going back to the dishes. Once he mentioned the hot tub she just instantly got happy. “God, it’s been such a long time since I’ve been in a hot tub. This is going to be pretty damn amazing. But I didn’t bring a swim suit, do you have like anything in your house that I can use? Sorry for not being prepared, I just didn’t know an amazing hot tub experience was going to happen.” Ari replied with a smile coming up on her face.

Justin smiled when he heard Ariana say she missed him. “I missed you more.” He said, just as low. He really did miss her though, more than anything. The two were best friends so it was hard for them to be apart for so long that’s why Justin even surprised her on her tour a couple times. “Oh don’t worry, I will yell at you and I will not forget.” He laughed at her wink. “You are such a dork and I don’t know why I love it so much.” He said, smiling big. Justin felt accomplished when she said it smelt good, though he knew the real test was actually eating it. “I made pretzel chicken with of course some vegetables on the side. I saw the recipe online.” He said. Justin took a bite of his food as well and he was pretty satisfied with the taste. “Well thank you. You’re the first person to taste my cooking so I appreciate the feedback.” He laughed. One thing Justin and Ariana always did together was laugh and smile and he loved it. There was never a dull moment between the two at all and that’s one thing he liked most about their relationship. He was himself around her at all times. “Good because I hope you know once we’re done here I’m changing and we’re cuddling for the rest of the night. I sure hope you plan on sleeping over because you’re not allowed to leave me until tomorrow.”

Ariana couldn’t help but blush, and she always knew when she was going to. In an attempt to hide it she put her hands over her face. It was a nervous habit of hers whenever she blushed in front of people, though she rarely did that. Usually it was only because someone was making her feel something she hadn’t felt in a while. “You love it because you love dorks. That’s all there is to it and you better not try to fight me on this.” She said giving him a playful nudge. She was actually quite surprised on how good his food tasted. She’d never tasted it before but she always pictured that it would be quite bad considering he never cooked. Now that she had tasted his food she was gonna start begging him to cook for her more. “So... Since you’re like a master chef now and all, do you think you can just cook for me all the time? Because that would be quite wonderful.” She said smiling at him from across the table. Once he mentioned the cuddling all night part, Ariana could feel herself blush once again. Only this time she didn’t try to stop it. She found no point in trying to stop it, Justin had seen her in every state and she knew he wouldn’t care what she looked like. “Well what kind of a best friend would I be if I didn’t stay all night and cuddle? Of course I’ll stay, you little goof ball.” She replied smiling at him once again, not taking her eyes off him.

Justin heard a knock on the door and his head shot up. He ran over to the door, opening it, and saw Ariana standing there looking cold as ever. “Oh my gosh.” He pulled her in, shutting the door behind her, and wrapped his arms tightly around her. “I texted you and said to walk right in exactly for this reason.” He started moving his hands up and down on her arms to warm her up. “But hi beautiful, let me take that from you.” He said, grabbing the stuff she brought and walking over to his counter and setting it down. He walked back to her and grabbed her hand, running his thumb against her cold skin. “C’mon dinner is ready.” He smiled, taking her to his dinning room where their plates were at, still able to see the steam come from them. He pulled out her chair for her and waited for her to get seated. Once she sat down he walked over to his chair taking a seat. “Okay listen, I know I’m not an expert when it comes to cooking so if you don’t like this you can order anything you want and I won’t get mad.” He said to her, chuckling a bit. “Actually yeah I’ll be a little pissed but your cuddles will make up for it so I don’t care.”

Once Justin opened the door Ari lifted her eyes up looking at him from outside. “God, I missed you.” She whispered muttering under her breath just loud enough for him to hear it. She laughed at him once he said she could just walk in. She always felt weird walking into places even if it was her best friends house. “Yeah yeah, you can yell at me about it later.” She said winking at him giving him as much shit as she could. Once Ari took a sniff in the air, she was amazed that it actually smelled pretty damn good. “Shit, Justin. What the hell did you make that smells that amazing? Is there some secret chef in the closet that’s gonna pop out and tell me that they made it?” She said laughing and sitting down across from him. She lifted up her fork and started eating what the boy had made for her. “You know, it did cross my  mind to pick up Chinese food in case this was a disaster but damn, you’re actually a pretty good cook. Who would have known?” She replied smiling at the boy. She never realized how much she smiled around him but at the same time she never really cared. She loved the fact that Justin could make her smile and laugh so easily, it was just something he was naturally good at without even trying. “Well don’t you worry, you’ll be getting plenty of cuddles. As many as you want.”
