Iconic Lighting

SFIR is a human-centered design. A table lamp which invites the user to playfully interact and experience light in a new fashion.

The solid glass sphere acts as a ball joint mechanism enabling the disc shaped lampshade to pivot seamlessly in any direction. Positioned inside the cylindrical body is an LED light source which shines through the glass sphere reflecting off the underside of the lampshade. 

Whiplash by David Weeks Studio. Poised and full of energy, featuring a hand formed brass armature piercing a hand blown glass shade.

Each shade is illuminated by a dimmable LED and can faced either up or down.

Doi is a new family of minimal lights by Luceplan composed of only two key parts, a disc and a cylinder. 

Handmade in Barcelona from solid alabaster stone. Alabast is a portable lantern by Carpyen. Suitable for interior and exterior use with up to 8 hours battery life. Recharges using induction technology.

As a multifunctional lamp ‘Float’ by Axolight ticks all the boxes. Designed by Mario Alessiani, the battery powered Float lamp can be used both outdoors and indoors, on a table, floor, wall, or even suspended. 

Inspired by children's floats, this portable lamp is equally as playful. With up to 9 hours battery life, this exceptionally versatile lamp will encourage you to get creative in where you choose to use and mount it.

Vessel by Chicago based studio Lake + Wells.

Designed for gathering, Vessel harnesses a warm bonfire-like glow within a single machined sculpture. Place in the centre of the table indoors or outdoors with its rechargeable battery. 

Free-form woven lighting by OVUUD.

The Philadelphia-based studio combine traditional woodworking techniques with next-generation lighting technology to create these truly unique pieces. 

Varying bent forms are interwoven together but remain separate from each other to create a cohesive yet calming layout. 

Each piece is made by hand and can be tailored to suit any criteria. Fabricated from locally sourced materials including ash, oak and walnut.

Flux by Haberdashery was originally designed as a sculpture for the Foster and Partners Principle Tower in London.

These droplets of light now form part of their contemporary collection to create stunning centre pieces in more residential settings.

Inspired by a style of jewellery stone setting technique where small diamonds are set as close together as possible and fastened by tiny droplets of metal.

Rice Field acoustic lamps by Tuttobene.

Stump is a multi-functional lamp handcrafted from salvaged timber in Tasmania. It is the most recognisable design in Duncan Meerding’s collection.

Each lamp emits a warm yellow glow and can also be used as a table or stool. The warm glow represents the flames which would have inevitably consumed the timber if it weren't for Meerding utilising the material in this unique way.

Meerding’s designs draw heavily from the vast natural beauty of the Tasmanian wilderness. Many of his designs highlight and embrace the materials natural characteristics, such as the bark that still clings onto the objects in this Cracked Log collection.

The Tenn Up pendant by Fluxwood Lighting is crafted from solid timber with powdercoated aluminium details. The minimal but impactful design is perfect for kitchen islands and dining tables.

Tenn Up features independently controlled up-lighting to create ambient lighting effects which are fully dimmable and available in different colour temperatures.

The solid timber body is available in bespoke timber species to match any interior, and in lengths up to 3 meters.

Sharp Diamond Light is a fully customisable modular wall lamp by Talbot & Yoon. 

The intricately folded satin brass modules reflect light from the light source downward and outward casting a warm even glow into the room as well as an outline onto the surface on which it is mounted. 

Use individually or in groups to form larger compositions, customize the shapes and sizes beyond the standard offerings to make your own unique configurations.

Dew & Drop pendant lamp by New York based design studio @ocrum_studios.

Observing and studying the details and the formation of dew and a water drop, light is trapped in between the glass, creating natural shades and reflections all around.
