      Feet lay against the desk opposite her.    Violet hues study her boots    ;    maybe it was time to get new ones.    She doesn’t change her stance as she hears the shuffling of feet fill the classroom.    She hopes they won’t notice her.    Perhaps she will be lucky enough to slip through the course without being noticed.    She realizes soon luck has never been on her side when she hears the voice of Aizawa    ;    introducing her to the class.    Eyes glance up to find eyes on her.    For a moment, she feels the itch of embarrassment rising, but she’s quick to push it down as she lets her feet plant to the ground loudly.    Eyes study each individual one - by - one before she hears the instructor’s voice again.    His voice tells her to move to her assigned seat, but she’s quick to voice her own opinion.       ❛    No, thanks, Eraserhead.    I like where I am.    Don’t worry, I can hear you just fine.    ❜      A feign smile places itself upon her lips as she presses her back into her chair.    She feels a small spark of joy when she hears Aizawa sigh, his    “  Very well,  “    meeting her hears.    The joy is quickly melted from her skin when she watches as the boy walks closer to her    ;    placing himself in the seat next to her.    Of course, she would go and pick the seat next to      (    what did the explosion one call him, again  ?    That’s right.    )      Half - and - Half.

        Shouto  had  been  talking  to  Iida  before  class ,  but  as  soon  as  Mr .  Aizawa  came  in ,  he  stood  to  head  back  to  his  seat .    When  their  instructor  began  to  introduce  the  new  student ,  however ,  he  paused  to  let  the  class  greet  her .    He  knew  who  she  was :  Aika .    He’d  seen  her  at  the  sports  festival ,  quirk  setting  her  ablaze .    Her  power  was  impressive ,  but  un - honed .    It’s  likely  why  she  was  sent  to  the  hero  course .    One  would  have  to  be  blind  to  miss  the  potential  in  her .    The boy  is  a  bit  taken  aback  by  her  boldness ;  she  immediately  refuses  to  listen  to  Mr .  Aizawa’s  orders ,  and  he  is  even  more  surprised  when  the  instructor  simply  lets  it  go .    He  doesn’t  know  why ,  at  first ,  but  as  he  starts  to  walk  towards  his  desk ,  he  understands .    

        Aika’s  placement  in  the  seating  may  not  have  been  where  Aizawa  had  originally  planned ,  but  perhaps  he  saw  similar  attributes  within  them .    Shouto ,  however ,  has  no  real  plans  to  befriend  her .    If  Aizawa  wanted  someone  to  help  her  control  the  fire  within ,  he  was  looking  at  the  wrong  student  to  do  it .        (  He  did  not  acknowledge  his  fire .  )        Wordlessly ,  he  takes  his  seat ,  taking  note  of  Aika’s  glare  through  use  of  his  peripheral  vision .    

‘   MARA   ‘         someone   nearby   calls   her   that   like   they’d    KNOWN    her;    as   if   they’d   known   the   girl   who’s   name   was   plastered   acrossed   the   media   as   someone   related   to   shigaraki   tomura.    she’d   whipped   around,   teeth   bore,    insults   slipping   past   her   with   warnings   to   never   call   her   that   ——–    now   akin   to   a   animal   who’s   cornered   in   more   ways   than   one.    it’s   iida   who   pulls   her   back   besides   him   &&.   shouto,    it’s   iida   who   cringes   when   his   grip   on   her   arm   turns   to   blood   dripping   down   his   palm;   she   worries   only   momentarily,    her   quirk   is   pulled   back,    controlled,   her   gaze   icy;    she   says   nothing,   just   moves   to   push   past   shouto.

        ❛    Hey .    Knock  it  off .    ❜        The  boy  spits  the  words  out  with  a  malice - laced  tone ;  he  clearly  means  business ,  and  the  people  who  were  taunting  Daiten  quickly  began  to  back  off .    His  fists  are  clenched ,  but  they  soon  unclench  as  he  sees  Iida’s  hold  on  the  shaken  girl ;  Shouto  is  glad  Iida  pulled  her  from  the  situation ,  but  he  knows  she’ll  run  off  by  herself  shortly .    No  one  deserved  to  be  alone  in  a  time  like  this ,  especially  not  her .

With many of the others, gone to do, who knows what, the humanized Quirk had choosen to watch tv, something about how the sky works, its changes of colors over time, weather. etc. 

She was not well adjusted with how the world truly works, outside of heroism, its society and so on. Thankfully, not zoned out, his presence doesn’t go unnoticed nor were the shared words. 

Sure, she could be nasty, but that’s only by temptation or if the wrong button is ignited.

        ❛    ---    It  is .    This  is  just  something  I  can  grab  and  eat  whenever  I  want .    ❜        Shouto  doesn’t  express  it  aloud ,  but  he  is  actually  surprised  that  Shiniqua  took  note  of  the  food  he  enjoys .    It’s  kind  of  a  known  fact  that  Soba  is  his  favorite  food ,  after  all ,  but  he  wasn’t  expecting  Bakugou’s  quirk  to  take  a  mental  note  of  that  fact .    He  leans  forward  even  more ,  holding  the  bag  out  towards  the  blonde  and  allowing  her  to  reach  in  and  grab  a  handful  of  the  chips .
