Haylen had this strange admiration for anyone that was mentioned on the radio in good faith. It was like they had reached that celebrity status and to her that was something to get excited about. It pushed the world to believe that there is good within it and that they can also do something to help.
She chuckled along with the joke, understanding it from the whispers that she had been buried within a vault for some many years. “You are all anyone talks about.”
“Raiders? Scum the lot of them, if you need any help I’m more than happy to come along, an extra gun is always helpful. I may just be a Scribe but I have a wicked aim.”
a smirk makes it’s way onto her face when she’s told how known she was. even though it was something as simple as waking, p r i d e was taken nonetheless. but that pride quickly fades to cation when she offers to help, && she looks her over.
this cation is a fear that the young scribe were betray her, no. it was one of distrust towards herself && if she could make sure she doesn’t die if this promise turned out to be a lie. if this girl died because she made the wrong choice, she sure as hell couldn’t live with it.
but alessandra decided to give the girl the benefit of the doubt; she was in the brother hood of steel after all. there was little doubt this faction would accept just anyone.
❝ is that right ??? ---WELL, if you’re not busy right now i’ll invite you to help right now. ❞
