just watched another ryan gosling film! yayyy!
╱ HINDSIGHT (20-20) [REQ.]
pairing frank langdon x fem!mohan!reader. content warning angst, workplace rivalry, enemies to a secret third thing, family drama. overachiever reader, insecurities, brief mention of drug addiction, set pre-season one with references to season one and post-season one, thoughts of infidelity, frank is a fucking asshole and i'm not sorry about it. word count 2.4k. note so admittedly, i took a lot of creative liberties with this, so i hope that's okay? i just really wanted to do him justice because i can't see this taking place during any other time except when he's going through his benzo addiction stuff. he's such a shitter in season one and i stand with my canceled wife!
the breath you take is sharp, intentional. every inch of you bristles under the unyielding, stubborn gaze of samira mohan.
it's not often you argue with your older sister. in truth, you have always gotten along, even managing to avoid the stereotypical "siblings hating each other" era in your youths. you love her so much that you followed her into healthcare and then to the pittsburgh trauma medical center. for all intents and purposes, she is your role model. she's everything you strive to be, her mini me as she so affectionately called you through your joint childhood.
that has been your biggest achievement—not being valedictorian in high school, not making it through med school, but being samira's little sister. it has always shed light on your path, guided you through her footsteps.
these days though, it feels like a branding. in med school, you were sure of yourself, confident, and quick. since starting at the pitt, you feel like samira's shadow more than anything else, something you never thought possible. when you're in the same room as her, you feel invisible, insignificant, and silent.
and the only person who exacerbates that is her fellow resident, frank langdon. you're not sure what it is about you that irritates him so, but you seem to get under his skin in ways that aren't apparent, not even to those who have known him the longest. he pushes and he prods and he pricks.

so my main idea for lamgdon x samira’s sister reader is something like this: reader is usually pretty confident, sharp mouthed and has a quick wit but the one thing she’s very insecure about is her sister. they have a pretty tense relationship, laced with rivalry. as a younger sister it’s hard for her to feel enough and appreciated in the Pitt as Samira already established her position. Reader always felt like Langdon loved working with her sister and it hurt, because he was much harder on her than Samira. The tension between reader and Langdon was building up for sometime now. One day reader and Samira have a huge fight, not the usual back and forth but the type of argument where too many words are said. Langdon only hears the part of it and takes Samira’s side, not knowing what it was about or what cruel words Samira said in anger. When reader storms out he follows her, leading to them fighting in an empty room, her almost shouting in his face about how he treats her. The tension snaps and they both realize there was an underlying attraction which now takes control over them.
two months later but i finally got that shit done WHO CHEERED!! you can find it here!!

working on stuff to post this week and god. am i WASHED? am i BAD at WRITING? should i DELETE MY ACCOUNT?
langdon telling reader all the cool procedures he got to do at work while she rides him...
"— so I realigned his spine," he laughs breathlessly, shakes hair out of his eyes and squeezes at the fat of your hips while you ride him. "his spine, baby. without neuro."
"that's so hot,” you gasp into his mouth, “you’re so hot.”
“had his head in my hands and then i j-just—snap,” his laugh is more delicious this time, and then it gets cut off by a moan when you squeeze around his cock. “fuck, sweetheart, you feel so fuckin’ good.”
“better than a spine realignment?” you smile n bite his lip while he chuckles.
“i don’t know if I’d go that fa—” the rest of his sentence is muffled by a pillow over his face while you gasp in faux outrage through a fit of giggles :’)
╱ DON'T BE A STRANGER, TEASER
when frank langdon moves in across the hall from you in january, you consider asking if he needs help, but his airpods and the decidedly annoyed look on his face deters you. a year later, you wind up under his care at ptmc. potentially canon divergent. neighbors to lovers, slow burn, smut.
pairing frank langdon x fem!reader. teaser content warning mentions of injury. reader does not work at ptmc. teaser word count 0.8k. expected word count 10k+. note my first major long fic on this account. i hope this shit turns out good. i'll die if it's bad. there's no eta on this because i'm still working on the first draft, but i'm 5k words in so far and it's going great. i'm very proud of it. i just hope everyone ends up liking it lmfao.
You do return to PTMC two days later for a wound check, as recommended by your doctor. To your dismay, Frank Langdon is indisposed, so a different doctor takes care of you. Cassie McKay is tall and beautiful and her voice is silky smooth; you could listen to her forever, you think. She tells you that your burn is healing nicely and that all that's really left for you to do is finish the tube of antibiotic cream. She sends you on your merry way, promising to let Dr. Langdon know that you came in and that the update is promising.
You don't see Frank for a few days after the fact. It must be on one of his days off that you run into him—literally run into him. You're carrying groceries up the stairs when the paper sack your milk is in starts threatening to give out on you halfway up the first flight of stairs. In your rush to make it to your apartment before the worst comes to pass, you trip over the top step of your floor and brace yourself for a faceplant into the rough carpet of the landing.
Instead, the impact never comes.

╱ A LIFE COMPLETE
pairing lars lindstrom x gn!reader. content warning brief mentions of infidelity and alcohol, potentially out of character lars. word count 1.2k note first time writing for the rgcu (ryan gosling cinematic universe) oh lars lindstrom how you've taken over my mind... my baby my love my little lamb. i would do anything for you.
FIVE MONTHS AGO, you rejected lars' marriage proposal. at that point, you'd been dating for close to a year, so getting married was the obvious next step, but you were still long distance.
the two of you had met through an online dating site a year and a half ago. you had gone into it skeptical at best, not really expecting much at all. your friends had convinced you to make a profile during a night of drinking after it was revealed that your shitty ex-boyfriend had cheated on you. a profile had been made and then promptly sat dormant for several weeks before you'd gotten an email notification that piqued your curiosity.
your interest in lars back then had simply been that—interest. he was the first guy on that site who seemed even relatively fascinating to talk to, but you were still recovering from betrayal and so you approached him without any expectations. you'd entertain him for a while, but if nothing came of it, then nothing came of it. no harm, no foul.
glasses are the sluttiest thing a man can wear.
video of ryan gosling eating pussy in a movie hit my twitter timeline like a fucking nuke i gotta get insanely goose pilled here sorry to everyone who followed me for the pitt content LMFAO
