Cats like to mimic what other members if their cat groups are doing. In human enviroments, this translates to cats following humans (who they see as part of their group) and trying to mimic activities they are doing.

Idk how many people will actually see this but i decided to post it anyway

So recently Mark did a members livestream, where he just chatted a bit with us, and he said something that kinda struck me unexpectedly. Someone said they felt bad about themselves when Mark talked about how he kept himself motivated, working out and keeping himself busy with projects and such. So he started talking about how he used to not spend his days the best way when he was younger, and that its okay to not do so. I couldnt include everything thing he said word for word in the comic, so to just sum it up he talked about how its okay to not always work and be productive, its totally fine. He encouraged us to think about trying to spend our time the best way we could, but he also made sure to make it clear he wasnt shaming anyone for not spending their days "wisely" when he talked about staying in shape and working etc.

I've wished so many times that I didn't need sleep nor eating because it felt like time would be spent in a better way.

However, there was also that point, that yes, I don't need to make something groundbreaking every day. I was happy, because I did something that I was okay with. Small things in life are what makes life interesting and fun. I enjoy food, and reading, and writing, and drawing. I enjoy watching shows.

I still do it most of the time, and sometimes I feel like I could've done better, that maybe if I did X I would help my family, or a friend, or maybe make a name for myself. There was always that nagging feeling to be great.

But small things are great, too. I feel well-rested when I sleep, or if not, the dream I had was fun. Big things and paths are scary and it pressures people, including me.

It's nothing wasteful in taking time to enjoy even the smallest things in life. Take care of yourself, and there will be a day when you could do that "contribution to society".
