“You look like you could use a milkshake,” Ava says, placing one on the table before the blonde can even respond, smiling softly. “Don’t get too excited about my kindness, pouty customers aren’t good for business.”

“Why do you always have to ask me loaded questions?” she asks, stealing a fry from his plate as punishment. “The whole point of my break is to enjoy myself---not wax philosophical with your moody ass.”
