A little while ago, I approached Tanya with an idea for this commission, and - even though it differed from what she normally does - she very sweetly accepted the challenge.

And it turned out beautifully! 🥰 From the soft focus glimpse of their bedroom, to the position of their bodies, to the details of their physiques, she did a wonderful job.

This painting buzzes with Spontaneous Morning Tumble energy. 😂 Arthur’s arm about Sarah feels both protective and passionate, possessive in a comforting way. Her grip on the rumpled covers shows how much she desires to give into him, too. 🔥

The tendon in his inner elbow and the angle of her clavicle both display an acute attention to anatomy. I love the way her hair spills over his forearm, how her nose brushes his face. There’s a sensuality that feels at once fiery and relaxed.
