It was the sound of the twig breaking that caught his attention, luckily, she didn’t frighten him or he might have thrown the small green flame in her direction, he slowly lowered himself into a crouch on the thick branch he was standing on.
Staring down at her, he tilted his head, green eyes narrowed and seemingly lifeless against the dull green the leaves around him were, he wondered, since she stood shock still when the branch broke beneath her feet why she didn’t flee like the animals did, mind you, nothing come near him without the intention of being seriously hurt or…something incredibly similar.
He lifted a brow, he wasn’t going to speak first, even if talking what she intended now that she had been caught by him, otherwise he could find a way to frighten her off, though he was in no mood to care at that point.
The very moment he turned she swore her heart stopped, and in that moment the breath within her lungs left in a fleeting breath. She lowered her chin, a very slow step taken back. Her gaze flicked from his face to the flame hovering nearby and back again. Within the light, as soft as it might have been, her own eyes seemed to glow. The forest around him was slowly coming alive, even the wood beneath his feet seemed to shift even the slightest.
It could sense her fear, her shock. His expression was flat, emotionless even. However the moment he raised a brow as if expecting her to react, she couldn’t help do so. Lips parted, a breath swept in to fill her lungs before it escaped slowly. Her words were soft, almost a whisper, and as she spoke, the slightest hint of amusement slipped free as well. ” I would ask why you are in a tree, but I am not sure I wish to know the answer.” The corner of her lip twitched, curling upward in a faint smile. ” If you don’t mind me asking, why are you wandering around in a place like this so late? Dawn isn’t for a good five or six hours.”
The silence allowed him to sense how frightened she was, but with that breath she took in gave a clear indication that she was going to speak, he sighed, he had hoped she'd run off, his tongue skated across his lips to moisten them as he listened to what she said.
The shift in the plant life around him and her did not go unnoticed, Liesmith chuckled lowly before he answered or even began to reply to her questions. "Last thing I remember is being locked in a room...but it seems I am not where I was...Marionette does that..." He said with an eerie purr to his tone.

Something felt…off. It was a strange sensation, lingering on the edge of her consciousness, at the very tips of her fingers. Something she could feel through the ever expanding system of flora that spread across the area. There was something out there moving, not along the ground, but through the trees. Monkey’s were a tropical animal, and bears wouldn’t be out foraging this late at night.
The vibrations were faint, but she steadily followed them. Bare feet carried her quietly, leaves tickling faintly across her skin as she neared. A light in the distance caught her eye, a star? No. It was too low to be a star. Squinting she moved closer, following it as it grew brighter. Leaves beneath her feat gave a soft crunch, causing her to pause. The movement never slowed, and thus she moved closer once again, nearing closer to the tree until she was righhht—
Snap.
Quickly drawing in a breath she went still as he stopped, staring up at the figure wide eyed like a deer stuck in a pair of headlights. Her heart lurched into her throat, the sound of her blood rushing through her ears. He was bound to notice her there, question was, what would he do when he did?

(For a moment it looks like the pigtailed girl will walk right past the tree, but then she looks up and fixes her eyes exactly on where the hidden man is perched.)
"You might want to be a bit careful with the magic up there, hon. It’s pretty visible."
He closed his hand and the flame extinguished, “It’s a good thing I wasn’t hiding.” He said to her, he moved so he could see her better, he lifted a brow, curious as to why she was there.
"That’s good, because I saw you from a fair way off." (She shrugs a little and tilts her head.) "So, is there any particular reason you’re up a tree? Apart from the view being pretty awesome." (Giggle.)
He went thoughtful for a moment, "I'm not sure why I'm in the tree..." He ran his fingers through his hair, before he climbed down. "I have this...thing were I black out and wake up in places I wasn't." it was a lie but a a believable one.

Loki sat, hidden by the trees, he wasn’t entirely sure why he was hiding, he had a feeling it had something to do with Marionette running scared from something like he usually did, it was dark out, he used a small green flame to light what he was doing, he decided to climb higher into the tree and look around, trying get some sort of a grip on where he was, he stopped and looked down when he heard something move beneath the tree, he knew it wasn’t an animal, he could tell by the sound of it’s footsteps.

"I am glad that you are not the only one with the blessing of having such an incredible gift. I suppose that they do no assist you when you are in need of it? From what you have said about everyone treating you unfairly." She replied and gave a soft wave of laughter in her voice,"It is no trouble at all. As I said before I am not of magic myself, but I will help you in trying to recontrol your gift. It might take sometime but, I have faith that you can do this." She moved her hand to place it on his arm with a confident smile since she believed in him that he could and would with some practice accomplish his struggles.
"It is not so much as they are not helping, it's more they have trouble doing so, as I said, I excel most of them." He smiled a bit and nodded, "It would be much better than worrying about it flaring and hurting someone..." He looked down after a moment at the book, before looking back up at her.

"I assume that no one else has this gift of sorcery here on Asgard? I do find that quite odd." She gazed at him with a small smile, confused on why there was not any other wizard or witch of his league in this realm. She nodded at his gesture to his head still feeling very sorry for him in her heart. "I am no master of any sort of magic but, I am willing to give you advice or perhaps tips on how you can learn to recontrol it. There is no need to be afraid, my great-grandmother Galadriel, is a elven lady of great power and Gandalf the White is a great wizard himself. I have witnessed their magic from afar and I have learn things that will assist you, if you want?"
"There are others with the gift, not just myself." He told her, he smiled gently "Help me recontrol it? I would appreciate it. I seem to be struggling by myself..." He said quietly and bit his lip and looked down again. "Only if...it is no trouble to you Aldalatin..?"

"You are into the area of sorcery?" She asked with a wide smile finding a subject that she could very well relate to. "I do know of a few in my realm that can very well accomplish the spells of sorcery. Are you a wizard yourself?" She had known from the mere moments of a child that the line of being a witch or wizard could lead to a dark path of life or even one of the light of the good. It surprised her then he was perhaps a wizard himself but, of which side? It had yet to be discovered but, she would not judge what he was or which path he was taking.
"I am a master magician in this realm, I excel beyond all others in this area..." He smiled a bit, "though recently...with.." He made an indication to his head, "I have been having trouble controlling my magic...it seems to fluctuate uncontrollably sometimes...though...usually when I am angry or frightened."

Aldalatin saw his gaze dart from one location to another throughout the long corridor that stood located on either side of them. It made a sudden reminder that she would be easily found if she did not continue on but, at the very same time she would be also caught if she did leave him. Either way, she remained still on the bench next to him, her gaze fell back on his book that he was once again holding within his grasp again. “I must say that is a interesting title to your book that you are currently reading. May I ask what it is about?” she asked interested in the title of his book and the text within. As a vivid reader, she loved to set back to take in new content of a book that was unknown to her so that she may learn and to study the text within. “I do apologize if I come of as being noisy. I am only interested in your book since I love to read, myself.”
He heard her voice and turned his attention back to her then down at his book, he smiled, "It..it's an old spell tome...I have a few..." He said quietly,he ran his hand over the tarnished leather bound book before he simply just held it once more.
