Spot the difference? it’s not our differences that divide us but our inability to recognise, accept and celebrate those differences. I was that one kid in the picture that was reminded of my differences everyday in class in a negative light. on the trains. Action is the only remedy to indifference (the most insidious danger of all). The UK is no different to the US, lets not all scream just about police brutality & discrimination but also in schools & education, legislations, employment, housing and much more.

I hardly post pictures of my younger days but this pictures dedicated to every one that their differences are not celebrated, never be limited by other people’s limited imagination, our differences is what makes us great.

Race & racism is a reality that so many of us grew up learning to just deal with, the solution needs all of us black and white, no matter how well meaning we think we might be to do the honest uncomfortable work of rooting it out. Let the fight and awareness continue beyond this week, month & beyond the trend even after the manifestation is over ….
