I wanted to give up not only once, twice but thrice. Thoughts like "Kakayanin ko pa ba?" "Ayokong maging pabigat." "Bakit ba ang hina ko?" are plaguing me. 9/9 is so real. Samahan mo pa ng nakakalokang weather. I've had more adventure in that 43 hours of hike than all my previous hikes combined. Para lang kay penguin na yan hinamak ko ang lahat 😂. Yung overnight na naging dayhike na nag ecamp din naman. Unli init; unli lamig; unlichills; yung nakidlatan na kayo; walang tent; naubusan ng rice; nung may rice walang ulam kaya nag ulam ng dingdong; nagkape gamit ang pinakuluang tubig sa lata ng century tuna at kung anu pa. It was definitely one of my most unforgettable experience na for sure maaalala ko kahit pag tanda ko. Thank you oh God for providing me the strength, courage and perseverance to finish. MT. So I look at this picture and tell myself that every mountain I decided to climb was worth it; that it's not a waste of time or resources. To see a view like this with your naked eye, with the sun burning your skin and the wind throwing you out of balance, is more humbling than you could ever imagine. The world is much bigger than my worries, my insecurities and my sorrows. It is a world created by an even bigger and greater God.

You never know what you can do until you actually tried. 😎😎 This is my most memorable hike for lots of reasons. Under the blanket of stars and on the cradle of the valley my patience, my courage, and my endurance were tested and went beyond their limits. Day 2 was a 19-hour trek in which 10 hours were spent in a continuous walk along the sandy lahar, countless river crossings, occasional climb on steep sandy slopes and 2 short rappel sections . My mind did all it could do so my body won't remember that it needed rest and sleep. With eyes almost closed, I made it through the Road of Forever 😂😂.
