Did she annoy me? Yes. Did she make one bad decision after another? Yes. Did she choose the wrong side? Yes.

BUT, she is still a well-written character.

Gloria is smart but she’s also impulsive and she feels fully. Her emotions crush her and she feels a lot of anger which tends to make her self-righteous. Her need to help Fernando took her over and she sacrificed her place at the offshore. The feeling of having everything taken away from her when she was cast out of the Shell made her go down the path of an anti-hero.
