Hi sorry this took so long to get back to!!!! Ive never gotten an ask on this blog before so this is exciting!

To answer your question I usually do one of three things:

1) I have one of those wireless machines and sometimes I poke with the machine but with the power off. I really like the weight and the way it feels in my hand. Plus the needle can retract if I need to put it down for a second.

2) I'll fasten the needle to the little stylus thing that I got in my first kit. But honestly anything that feels comfortable in your hand like a pen should work fine. And I fasten the needle with medical wrap from rite aid

3) if I'm practicing on fake skin sometimes I just hold the needle if I only need that size for a little bit bc I'm too lazy to set up something 😅
