No, you still have a lot of friends. You just have different levels of friends. You have acquaintances, and friends, and close friends, and best friends. And you are different levels of friend to everyone else. People can’t give every other person on earth the same level of care, it’s exhausting. So yes, you make time for your closest friends, you’re constantly there for them, you can be there in an instant if they need help. But you can’t do this for every single person you know, it’s not healthy. You also have to juggle school, extracurriculars, work, etc. Just because someone isn’t one of your few closest friends doesn’t mean you aren’t important to each other in one way or another.
