Some other fun stuff to keep in mind. According to the anime, the first time Digimon were witnessed in the real world was the Highton View Terrace in 1995, but Digimon weren’t seen again for a long time afterward. But in late 1996, a UFO crashed into the Sumida River, carrying with it Tamagotchi that had fled their home planet after it had become drunk and uninhabitable. The Tamagotchi devices built by a professor and his assistant converted Tamagotchi into data and allowed them to live in Earth’s atmosphere. Bandai picked up the project and started mass producing and selling Tamagotchi as toys for kids. It was nearly a year later when we suddenly got the Digimon virtual pets, using the same framework as the Tamagotchi devices.

Encourage infighting: infiltrators will deliberately convince members of these movements to attack each other rather than act cohesively. They'll find ways to target popular people within the group and encourage members to ostracize those people, shifting the energy of the group to the internal conflict and depriving the group of those peoples' support

Discourage seeking allies and support: infiltrators will constantly attack the idea of accepting aid from anyone outside the movement, claiming that they are untrustworthy or that accepting this aid is some form of betrayal.

Demand the unattainable: infiltrators will both demonstrate their "commitment" and attack the existing leadership by saying that everything being done so far is insufficient and weak; they'll also attack people this way by holding them to standards no person can reasonably meet. They'll then try to steer the group away from practical actions and toward things that can't possibly be achieved.

Push the group into risky and unnecessary acts: as part of the previous step, they'll encourage actions likely to get group members sued, arrested, hurt, or killed, and will attack group members for "cowardice" if they object. Remember, their objective is to eliminate the group's ability to function, and giving authorities an excuse to arrest the entire group is an effective way to do this.

Demand access: infiltrators will work hard to "prove themselves" and then use their new credibility to demand access to things like membership lists, plans, and treasury information.

Spread misinformation: infiltrators will spread rumors within the group and, when confronted, claim that evidence to the contrary is a fabrication.

Know someone in your group who does these things? Do the following:

Quarantine: keep them out of anything sensitive. They don't get names, dates, plans, or anything else you don't want made public.

Monitor: finding out what your enemy is after is valuable intel. Watch them and see what they do, but do it carefully

Mislead: give inaccurate information about your plans that won't hurt them but will harm enemies using that intel.
