Buck had been agitated all through their shift, making it seem longer than it actually was.

Eddie wasn't eavesdropping, he wouldn't do that.

Buck had agreed to it. It was his own fault to be in a crowded bar lost in how many drinks he had already.

Buck didnât know why, but the words just came out of his mouth as he sat on one of the benches in the locker room while tying the shoelaces of his sneakers. Eddie stood next to the locker room, already fully changed into his civil clothes and finishing putting his watch on.
