Out of the way!

Lucas was trying to do more research on the Lake Guardians when he heard Barry walk in, he stayed focused, not really watching him. Lucas jumped back when he saw the drawing on his desk. Lucas picked it up and smiled. “Cute.” He simply stated. He opened it and smiled at the ‘sorry I broke your wrist, bro.’

"No, I got this. Dad won't let me take money from you because," Barry stood up, posing with his hands on his hips, imitating his father's voice, "You can't take money from the cripple." He sat back down, "When are you able to leave? I want ice cream. I found a place that's having a special chocolate explosion, its a chocolate cone, triple scooped chocolate chips ice cream with a chocolate whip cream, drizzled with hot fudge, chocolate sprinkles, with a chocolate covered cherry." Barry smiled, thinking about the treat.

“Will you let to go my tie?” He demanded at Barry, trying to fix it after his mess up. He make a reminder to himself to hit Barry upside the head later on when he got home. Jeez Barry seemed like he was more clumsy than Bianca.. wait what? Impossible. “Barry, just don’t move.” Cheren’s hands were held up, pushing forward after every word he said.

Barry looked the clock, gasping, "You guys are gonna be late!" Barry got up and grabbed their things, bumping into both of them at times. He led them to the door, "I can take care of your household, you guys are gonna be late." He opened the door and rushed them out, "Have a good day! Make good choices!" Barry closed the door and walked over to the couch, "The couch is mine!"

Lucas jumped back from Barry’s immediate response. “Calm down..Okay, yeah that meant something to me too.” Lucas said proudly. “I like you too..but I just haven’t said anything because our friendship also means alot to me…ya know?”

Barry started laughing over the irony of Lucas’ words. “That’s soo funny! We both didn’t want to ruin the friendship.” Barry continued to laugh as Lucas blushed. He stopped laughing as Lucas tried to ask him out. ”On one condition,” He said taking Lucas’ shaking hands “You have to make me a sandwich.” He chuckled then leaned into Lucas to kiss him again. 

Lucas continued the tight squeeze. “Your more than you think you are. It was my fault I broke my wrist. Are you kidding me? I fell a sleep driving!” He held Barry’s head, rubbing it comfortingly. “You didn’t see the Pokemon. No big deal. You didn't know the quads were low on gas.” He clasped him in the hug tighter. “You don’t even realize how much you mean to me. To everybody. You think no one would miss you?” He asked sarcastically. “Wrong.” He removed his hand from the blonde’s head and back, looking at the upset boy in front of him.

Barry sniffled looking in his friends blue-gray eyes. He listened to the encouraging words that Lucas had just told him. Barry became embarrassed at his thoughts with Lucas so close so he looked down. Lucas to pulled his chin up and made him look back into the eyes that he could never get enough of. Lucas had stopped talking and Barry's eyes moved down to Lucas' pale lips. He remembered when he wondered what they tasted like. With the short distance between the two didn't help the thoughts screaming to find out their taste. Barry leaned up and pressed his lips to Lucas'. 

"Aw but those look cool." Barry whined and slouched over moping over the object. "This looks cool." Barry started poking at Cheren's tie then messing it up knowing that touching Cheren's tie is a big no-no in the mind of Cheren. "Ooh! Can I touch this?" Running over to Bianca he touched her blonde hair then took her glasses. "Damn everything's upside down. Ya know I enjoy food, I'll get it myself." 

“Well you better battle him with me when he is all grown up, got it?”

He wiped a tear from his laughing fit of the old memories “Ah good times. Don’t worry Dawn when your birthday comes,” He said slowly nodding to add effect “You will have your chance.”

After he was done getting dressed he walked out of his bedroom and checked on the twins quickly, still sleeping thankfully, until he heard Barry come in and yelling he was here. “Is he serious?” He mumbled under his breath. Looking over he saw they were both still sleeping, well Chen was starting to toss around so that meant he was going to wake up soon.

Lucas looked back at the Pokemon following the two, hearing Barry’s excuse for having their lives in danger. Lucas joined Barry at the tree, and pat his back. “You didn’t search the area? See if anyone, or anything was watching you? Why don’t you check these things?” He asked quickly. “Irresponsible..” He muttered to himself. “Could have had us more injured than we already are..” He said looking down at his hurt wrist from the accident not too long ago. He shook the memory away.
