MMMRISHIMARU

People say they like my work, but I just still don't believe them. I don't think next year will change that, but I'll continue to slowly put out crap that people will claim to enjoy.

This year was quite mundane and nothing really progressed, besides my escalating disinterest in drawing.. Hopefully next year will be better.

I used to be really focused when I would work digitally, now I find that even sitting at my desk is a distraction. Maybe dual monitors was a mistake..

I'm 100% certain I should seek a mentor in order to progress. The last therapist I went to even pointed that out months ago now that I think about it.. So, the search begins in my next step to improve for me.

I don’t even know anymore..

After thinking on it more today, I realize I still heavily dislike coloring. Learning it, doing it, watching others do it, it just truly doesn't excite me and is ruining my love of drawing. The lines though, that's what gets my heart pumping and rejuvenates me. It's what I pay attention to in a drawing and I think I'll just primarily be doing monochromatic works from now on.

Maybe I should also start sketching smaller instead of constantly doing large doodles..
