Well, this has to do with my book on Wattpad (Resonancia Sensorial), but it's in Spanish so…

Let's get into the lore. The Haika is a marine/aquatic mammal from Kayck, primarily inhabiting areas near lagoons and rivers. Interestingly, these creatures are not usually hostile to humans; they are simply resistant to taming. However, Yūh, lacking pure human blood, can domesticate them incredibly quickly. They are larger than an adult man, with an average adult specimen reaching approximately 2.59 meters in length. Kayckans often use them as aquatic mounts to hunt fish or slightly larger mammals, taking advantage of their great agility in the water. However, because of this, they are somewhat clumsy on land, as their legs are primarily adapted to aquatic life.

I was inspired by a specific video by Keegan The Animator (on Tik Tok), lol, because I really liked his style and I wanted to do something similar with my kids.
