someone enlighten me w their alfred hcs ill start i sometimes think of him as a person with some nearsightedness but he can manage without glasses, perhaps unrelated but(personal opinion) like arianna he can recognize a hunters smell thats why hes able to tell our nameless hunter is a hunter

this goes a bit into my own personal alfred lore but i think he was orphaned as a young child due to a beast attack in his community on the outskirts of yharnam and he got taken in by some church hunters (actual believers as well, not just hired hunters/mercenaries). because of this he doesn’t know all the ins and outs and intricacies of the healing church but he still got indoctrinated into their beliefs and dogmas. and since these ideas were coming from his saviors, he just never challenged them. they saved his life. why wouldn’t he trust them?
