"roll, roll, roll, roll..." but the closer he gets, the louder he gets.

"roll, roll, roll!" and then, as loud as he can manage, parker yells with a sharp grip on chance's shoulders:

"RRRRRRRRRRRRROLL!!!"

he perks up at the sound inching towards him, not quite being able to make it out right away. where is it ? where's it coming from ? before he can so much as turn around and fully begin to process what's being said, he feels the grip of another's hands and winces a little in shock as he hears that simultaneously beautiful and dreadful word reach his ears. god, there is only one voice in the world that could say that word and make him furrow his brow. 

❝ agh ! parker ! ❞      he does little to push him off, but he does squirm under his touch.      ❝ you know how i feel about the dice ! i don't want to roll for a relationship with you ! don't you remember what i said before ? ❞      he sighs, remembering his time in the attic weighing the dice for him. he'd worked hard on those dice if he was honest, but no matter what, he still could not wrap his head around relying on dice for falling in love. he was used to falling in love with people through stories and adventures… that was the real way to do it. why didn't parker get that ? 

it leaves a lipstick mark.

❝ i had been thinking that we could invite park-- ❞      he's stopped dead in his tracks, feeling the gentle lips press against his forehead. what was he even talking about ? something about campaigns and dice rolling and… oh, he couldn't think ! whenever ava was around, it felt like he was melting, especially when she would be so gentle and affectionate. he loved that about her. he loved that so deeply about her. 

it takes him a moment to realize that there's a really strange sensation on his forehead after she's planted the kiss. why did her lipstick look a little bit lighter ? why was she smirking ? oh. oh no. without another word he pulls up his hood gently, hiding his face a little so the shadow covers his forehead. he's got a gentle and tiny pout on his face.

chance will rig rolls sometimes without realizing it. his feelings towards a player will cause them to inch closer to succeeding or failing their action without him even realizing it.

someone he's friends with but doesn't feel particularly strongly towards would tend to roll mid range, but also may not have any influence at all on their dice, allowing them to roll the widest range of numbers and have the most dynamic possible session.

someone he loves ? good luck rolling anything less than a 15. you're extremely likely to continually succeed over and over again in all of your actions. the more he loves you, the higher you continue to roll. nat 20s are very much in your future.

now... someone he hates ? it's unlikely he would even play with you present at all... but if he were to ? you're probably not rolling any higher than a 10. you'll be so unlikely to succeed in your rolls, you'll probably die half way through the campaign.
