In the first gif, it’s obvious that Katniss is the one who goes in for the kiss. In the second one, it’s also obvious that she slightly pulls away, thinking the kiss is over.. But in the third gif, Peeta does the only selfish act he’s probably ever done. He pulls Katniss back to him and deepens the kiss, because he’s planning to die soon, and he wants to kiss (really kiss) the girl he loves for the first and last time.
