Q: Your amputation was almost two years. How are you today?
ME: I feel mundane. I mean I don't mind having just one functioned-hand, but if I could show it on a graph, it'll be just a straight line.
Q: How long did it take to accept that you have lost an arm?
ME: Not long. I mean I got 4 months prior the surgery. Four month of me telling myself that I am about to loose an arm. When I woke up after my surgery, I saw my arm and I was like "pendeknye". Then I only wanted to fall asleep again because my whole body was in pain.
Q: Did you have time to prepare for the amputation?
ME: Yes.
Q: What was your first thought when you are told that you have no other option other than amputation?
ME: The first thing I wanted to know was how do I use the bathroom independently? Haha.
Q: And what was your second thought?
ME: I look at my specialists, silently. Waiting, hoping, they might have other options...No? Okay they are serious with the amputation thingy.
Q: What were you most "afraid" of (for loosing a hand)?
ME: Nothing really. I'm more worry than afraid. Worry I can't function like "normal".
Q: How has your family reacted?
ME: This deserve another T-post.
Q: And your friends?
ME: I didn't tell any of them
Q: Did you have psychological support?
ME: I wish I had.
Q: What other support / help you have received?
ME: Financial support? Haha. My family helps me with stuff, this and that.
Q: What would you do differently today?
ME: Differently? Nothing I guess, I've always did it my way. After all it is my life.
Q: What is it like to have lost a limb?
ME:
