Well, perhaps that was Hunter’s entire intention. After all he wasn’t planning on letting Jesse go anytime soon - so it’d only be natural he’d assert himself as the best option. As the hand snaked under the fabric of his polo Hunter couldn’t keep the lazy grin off his lips, half listening to Jesse while the other half of him paid much more attention to the other’s hands on him. 

“Smaller company,“ Hunter stated, then brought a hand to Jesse’s chest and kissed him to brush away those thoughts. Sure, Jesse had been turned around quite a lot, but Hunter found that a loss for the companies. Jesse was an amazing singer and performer, yet still they chose others over him. It made no sense - Jesse was young, attractive, and most importantly heavily marketable. 

Hunter finally moved from neck to lips with Jesse, stealing a kiss from the man and afterwards taking the hot chocolate from the table. With one sip he could feel the warmth returning to his body, pressing against his lover in satisfaction. The mischievous grin told Jesse that he was probably right, though Hunter’s mind wasn’t entirely stuck in the gutter. 

“Not weird at all,“ Hunter was quick to assure Jesse. For after all, it’d end up also being strange for him. Though they were early in their relationship Hunter still found himself missing Jesse after a few too many days apart - usually topping out at about three. He followed Jesse over to where he’d seated himself and slipped under the blanket, assuring the man that he’d keep his promise of warming him up. Y’know, along with some neck kisses.

The scent of hot chocolate hit his nose as soon as the door was open, the beverage almost being as good of a welcome as his boyfriend’s lips were. Jesse had a tendency for the dramatics, though Hunter never minded too much. Especially not when it had the other acting in ways that were much to Hunter’s benefit - an example being the tug inside that he got in response to... well, being here.
