An alert had been issued out from the outskirts of Romania, deep within the Carpathian Mountains. Monsters of all kinds have been attacking the cities, and a magical hex has engulfed the land in an artificial eternal night.
Located at the center of it all was a towering castle that wasn't there before, which civilians claim appeared suddenly in an ominous bolt of lightning.
Reserve heroes who aren't involved in bigger threats have gone to assist and combat the threat, but none have been able to get closer to the Castle as a barrier surrounds it.
The only way to break through is with magic, and the Justice League Dark are currently fighting monsters in New York.
Which leaves only one who can get through to face those within the Castle.

Raven, the daughter of Trigon and member of the Teen Titans from Jump City was told to investigate the monster appearances in Romania. She had arrived to the scene through teleportation and took a look around.
"Interesting place." She spoke keeping her hood up. She then approached the castle. "Azarth Mentrion Zinthos!" She shouted using her powers to open the doors.
@hunt-the-night continued from here Nathaniel strikes at the incoming fish men, each of them bursting into flames upon contact with the whip. The path forward becomes a bit more perilous for those who couldn't fly, as the broken floor starts to include large gaps that Belmont had to jump over to get across. With swift leaps, he is able to get to the other side of these gaps, before reaching a staircase that brings them out the other side of the barrier upstairs.
Raven could watch Nathaniel take on the fish men with his whip, and she was becoming impressed with how he fights. For the gaps in the floor, Raven was able to hover over them.
"Do I want to know what's on the other side?" She asked.
"No."
Nathaniel throws open the doors to exit the chamber, entering a room very similar in aesthetic to the entrance hall, but wider, and more...arena like.
"Okay, so which will it be, castle?...Werewolf? Wyvern? Your run of the mill Giant Bat?"
A creak comes from the shadows, and a suit of armor holding a helmet under its arm steps into view.
"Oh, a Dullahan."
“A Dulla-what?”
Raven asked confused.
Nathaniel grips his mystical whip,
"A creature from Irish culture, more commonly called the Headless Horseman."
The armor reached out and grabbed a lance from the wall, preparing to attack the two of them.
"Oh, I read about those things before." Raven said as she was being cautious of the armor reaching out, and she began to shield herself and Nathaniel.
The Armor's attack is guarded against, and Nathaniel launches his whip to strike it in the chest and send it back a bit.
In retaliation, the armor throws the helmet high into the air, which unleashes a barrage of beams down on them.
"How about some beams of mine against yours?" Raven asked as she used her dark magic to counter the Armor's barrage of beams. She even sends a black raven construct against it.
The helmet's blasts are deflected, but the raven construct doesn't seem to do anything.
"Don't waste energy targeting the head! It's a reverse psychology trick!"
Nataniel leaps out from behind the barrier to strike the armor in the back, then dodge rolling out of the way as it swings it's lance at him.
"Then, what's the weakness of this thing?" Raven asked towards Nathaniel as she watched him strike the armor from behind.
"Other hunters would assume that the head is the weakspot because the body is too big a target. That's the trick, hit the big target!"
The Armor slams the lance into the ground, summoning a wave of Blades to spring up out of the ground in Belmont's direction. He leaps out of the way just in time and throws daggers in it's direction.

Raven then lowers her guard, and makes her demonic powers dissipate when the whip-wielding hunter had introduced himself to her.
"Raven, one of the Teen Titans."
"...Never heard of you. Though in fairness, you've probably never heard of me either."
Nathaniel then turned back to the path heading further into the castle, and resumed walking. Eventually puddles of red ichor start seeping out of the stone floor around the two of them and form into more zombies, to which the Vampire Hunter un-holstered his whip once more and resumed combat.
Raven smiled a little, but it faded away when she saw the puddles of red ichor seep on the floor around and more zombies started to come out. "Looks like these undead aren't done yet." She said summoning her powers.
"Never truly are."
He quickly lashes the whip around and cuts the zombies down to progress further into the castle. Once they reach the next room, they are met with a towering wall blocking their progress forward, with a staircase heading down behind it.
"Hm, just like all the other times Belmonts have entered here... We'll have to go down to get around it."
Raven then began to use her special powers to push the zombies back while fighting alongside her new friend.
"Other Belmonts?"
"I'm not the first Belmont to storm this castle."
Nathaniel proceeded downstairs as he spoke, leading Raven to a basement room with broken flooring that led down to a watery abyss.
"Every 100 or so years, the lord of this castle would return from the dead to wreak havoc upon humanity once more. When that happens, a member of my bloodline would march into this castle to send him back into another century long slumber with this sacred whip. And as you can see, this time it's my responsibility."
As he continued through the basement, Humanoid fish-like monsters spring out from the water and land directly in their path.
"Well, let's see how you can keep up with me." Raven spoke as she confronted the humanoid fish-like monsters that came out of the water.
"Azarath Metrion Zinthos!" She shouted firing a blast of dark magic against them.

The doors of the Castle wall open for the Titan, leading into a large courtyard with a long dirt path leading to the castle itself.
The pathway to the castle was strewn with candelabras that magically floated in the air, emitting ethereal blue flames that gave off soul energy.
However some of the candelabras were either left broken on the ground, or piecing themselves back together. This could only mean one thing:
Someone else is already here.
Raven sees that the Castle doors were opening, and she floats forward to go in and investigate the area.
"The energy around here... I never felt so many soul energy." She spoke to herself. She then took a look at her surroundings of the place. Such as the candelabras piecing back together.
"Someone else was here..."
Suddenly, the echo of combat started to reverberate in the castle's entrance halls, whoever got here first is now locked in battle with the monsters dwelling within.
Strangely though, the sound is not the ignition of a gun, or the swing of a sword, or even the casting of magic.
Its the lash of a whip.
Raven heard the sounds of a lashing whip from inside of the castle, and she began to take a peek out from the door.
She saw someone fighting against the monsters inside this castle, and she was becoming impressed. "Wow..."
The monsters littering the entrance hall were mostly your run of the mill reanimated corpse, but leading the zombies were giant wolves that launched fire from their mouths.
The person the monsters were targeting was a young man garbed in some sort of vampire hunting attire, and brandishing a dark brown bullwhip that was on the shorter side for close quarters combat.
With the beasts defeated, he turned his attention to the witch girl looking on, remaining on the defensive.
Raven had watched the young man defeat the monsters without any sign of fear. She was impressed on how he was handling them on his own.
But she shook her head as she saw the man look towards her. "My name is Raven, and I'm not here to fight you. Sorry if I was distracting you." She said being defensive ready to use her powers.
The whip-wielding hunter stares at the young woman for a moment more, before relaxing and holstering the whip to his side.
He then approached the magic user, each step echoing in the temporarily empty entrance hall.
"Nathaniel Belmont, Vampire Hunter."
An alert had been issued out from the outskirts of Romania, deep within the Carpathian Mountains. Monsters of all kinds have been attacking the cities, and a magical hex has engulfed the land in an artificial eternal night.
Located at the center of it all was a towering castle that wasn't there before, which civilians claim appeared suddenly in an ominous bolt of lightning.
Reserve heroes who aren't involved in bigger threats have gone to assist and combat the threat, but none have been able to get closer to the Castle as a barrier surrounds it.
The only way to break through is with magic, and the Justice League Dark are currently fighting monsters in New York.
Which leaves only one who can get through to face those within the Castle.

"Interesting place." She spoke keeping her hood up. She then approached the castle. "Azarth Mentrion Zinthos!" She shouted using her powers to open the doors.
