Who inspires my confidence on the red carpet? I would say every woman that ever sees a picture of me and is inspired in some form or another and gains confidence from that, that’s what gives me confidence. Simply by having the guts to go out and wear a mullet to the Grammys, I think in many ways a lot of women can look at that and say, “dang, if she can do that then I can go to school and wear whatever the heck I want. Even though so-and-so says it was wack I’m wearing that shirt cause I like it.” That’s what inspires me; it’s knowing that there’s somebody out there that needed to see it.
