It’s been a while since I painted some linear fruits, but these first fruits of the season were calling my name! I don’t think I’ve ever painted a strawberry before, and let me tell you it was more challenging than I had anticipated. However, I’m happy with these quirky bright little fruits! Our little coffee bar just got a major upgrade! I gifted this amazing @scottypeekart painting for @mrbzokan42 birthday back in August because he is the one that makes the coffee and he deserves to look at something he enjoys. Truly, I can’t even remember what these were except for I’m sure they were supposed to be flowers… I waited for two years. They grew like giant corn stalks in our flower bed. Finally, (to my excitement) they started to bloom! I had waited for two years to see some thing blossom from these gangly stalks in our garden. The blooms were beautiful, but only lasted two days.
