zach: "i always joke with him, his first game in seattle. um you know, play a lot of minutes, and I know he wasn’t playing for a while. he looked at me like the second or third shift, and he’s like, 'man my legs hurt.' and i’m like, i looked over i'm like 'he’s not gonna make it.' um so, i’m always joking with him about that ‘cause, honestly, look how far we’ve come and um, you know, obviously he’s such a great player and i love playing with him, and hopefully he’s here for a long time."

“I think it takes a special kid to be that trailblazer. In many ways, that was my late son; he was a trailblazer, he was a pioneer. To me, what’s different about Luke is: it doesn’t appear to be a big wrestling match for Luke. He appears so comfortable with who he is and what he wants to accomplish.
