Welcome

It’s a pretty amazing feeling to put a piece of you out there and have it be received well, so thank you very much.

So, I did a couple of songs in London. Um, most of the album was written in Jamaica. Yeah, it was really fun. Then we did a little bit in LA as well.

I actually worked with a really small group. I wrote it with a producer and, uh, like 5 guys. And we did the whole thing.

I do have a date, yeah. Um, can’t tell you too much but it will be soon. I’m sure you weren’t expecting that answer.

Of course [I miss them], of course. But, we keep in touch, and I’ve seen them. It’s fun; everyone’s having a good time trying new things, doing their own thing, writing, everyone’s doing really well. Obviously, Niall and – everyone’s put out music and stuff, and it’s going great. It’s been really nice. I think it was a good time for us all to kinda take a second.

I love it. I didn’t know his voice was that crazy, which is just really, really inspiring.

I don’t think deliberate. I don’t think I kind of tried to write being like, ‘Oh I absolutely don’t want it to sound like that.’ I always really enjoyed all the music that we made, and I didn’t come out of it thinking like, 'Oh I absolutely don’t want to make that.’ I think it’s tough… I think I just wanted to write what I wanted to listen to and kinda see what came out, to be honest.
