This is a fun, tongue-in-cheek blog! We accept serious and silly submissions, including sexual submissions. We do not accept and will not publish bigoted submissions or harassment of any kind. We also won’t be posting anything about fandom drama— we’re trying to keep this blog wank/discourse free. They’re the best physical therapists you ever have.

Imagine: You finally work up the nerve to book an appointment for pelvic floor physical therapy. The practice has good reviews but you walk in to find... “Shane Hollander? Of the Montreal Metros?” “Yes. And if you train as hard as I did to become the best hockey player in the world you’ll see huge improvements in your pelvic floor health in no time.” He pushes you harder than you thought was possible but you leave feeling better than you have in months.

Imagine: You finally work up the nerve to book an appointment for pelvic floor physical therapy. The practice has good reviews but you walk in to find... “I-Ilya Rozanov? Star hockey player of the Boston Raiders?” “Da,” he says. “But I am also the best pelvic floor therapist this side of the bay.” He’s surprisingly gentle and admits he does this in memory of his mama. You leave feeling better than you have in months.

Imagine: you see shane hollander at the club. your eyes lock. wow he’s looking at you for a long time! you must have a connection!! you start to walk over to him, but, oh no! he’s still staring at the same spot. he zoned out and you just happened to be in his line of sight. he never even saw you

Confession 25: i’ve only watched the show twice and i think rewatching something over and over is boring and not worth my time so i don’t really get the “reheating” stuff

Confession 24: It feels daunting to be an asexual fan of this show because most blogs talk nonstop about sex. Finding stuff related to HR that isn't always explicit is hard.

FULL Confession 23: I am not a fan of episode 3 but for reasons i don't typically see. I think people dismiss scott's very logical reasons for staying closeted as discomfort and fear while ignoring the reasons he would be. Kip telling other people (or them knowing) while scott not knowing or having met these people and establishing trust is a huge risk for someone like scott especially with kip being someone he freshly knows. His career *is* his whole life. Hockey is the majority of the year and he's had it in his life since he was a child. He worked extremely hard to become the captain of both a very strong mlh team and the olympic team. His teams are his family since he lost his. Ilya's comment in episode 3 to scott shows the casual homophobia he endures (not knowing ilya is bi) and coming out will only make it worse not only from other teams but likely his own. He will likely be reprimanded by the mlh commissioner and may be traded to another team or sent to the lower leagues to 'keep team comradarie'. This has happened in real life and with such a realistic show it's a realistic fear. It would be a lot for kip to ask him to come out but he doesn't. Elena does. Someone he has never met before who is at a fundraiser party because either she works with this organization or has donated a lot personally (so i feel should understand how this isn't something she should ask). We don't know if she is queer at all but in her advocating for her friend who has asked her to let it go and be happy for him and instead of understanding kip is an adult who can handle his own relationship issues as they come up, she pushes scott to come out not asking his situation or worse likely knowing the risk and wanting him to sacrifice potentially his career and safety anyway. It wasn't her place to ask that of scott and scott has no obligation to come out. Kip went into this relationship knowing what it would entail. Being with a public figure and have your relationship be private from the world isn't tragic. It's about safety and a character pushing for that person to come out themselves and about their relationship shouldn't be praised but criticized. Scott also being seen as just timid and paranoid is really unfair to what is shown through their episode.
